Absolutely great airport, easy to access in every gate, there is a lot cafes and restaurants, but prices are overpriced. If you want water than go to automat there water costs 3lira, and if you buy it in restaurant or cafe it will cost you 6-8 lira. The same I can say about chocolates in automat it’s way more cheaper.

Ataturk Airport is a Huge and clean airport, it’s one of the largest airports among the continent of Europe, nice staff and strict security, wide variety of food court service and duty free shops, be aware that they charge you in Euro in the duty free shops, you can enjoy the cheap and comfortable message couches as well as reflexology service.

It is infact well organized and efficient but it simply cannot handle the traffic. Too crowded, terrible bathrooms and the worst is the ventilation. It is not working properly. Prepare for 30 degrees and smelly air

Very expressive. Free WiFi is impossible to get. I tried with two different phone numbers to register.

Decent timing on departure execution for international, duty free/food prices on a higher end comparing to large European airports.

Bathrooms are in inadequate condition with strong smell.
Quite challenging interaction with security and airport staff, not only due to communication barrier.

Very nice airport, has all the necessary facilities. The only downside is that it is always crowded.

Dirty toilets, problematic wifi - confirmation code is not sent for foreign numbers. Why such confirmation is necessary? Make it easy and free just as all other airports! Not to mention that not long ago there was no free wifi at all!

First I give this rating to employees in this airport, 70% of the didn't treat people as a respected human , it's just like everyone works for them I have many stories happened with me in this airport like fighting with Turkish airlines employee or miss my flight and I'm already in my gate before 20 min :( I hope you have a better experience in this big airport ..

The best airport I have been to so far. And I have been to many airports, but this one is very big and well informed so you never get lost. Staff are perfect, they know very good English. Security is excellent and the airport is very secured with 24h monitored cameras. Duty free is perfect and cheap. Many restaurant's and cafes including Starbucks! Considering it's a airport the cafe and restaurant's are reasonably priced. Flights do get delayed but that's understandable since Istanbul is a big city. I am looking forward to the 3rd airport. Atatürk airport also has bus routes, taxis, a nearby train station and even a metro connection. This airport is the heart of connecting Europe and Asia. Perfect airport with 3 runways and many hotels nearby.

I was received in this airport as if I was a sheep. I was in transit and when I arrived, I had to go through airport security again. The security officers were treating passangers very rudely. I saw a female officer push and handle someone's kid as if she was the parent. I was ready to say something but I kept it to myself because I was tired but this definitely need to be said. At the end, we are all customers and this people work for us period. I understand that they are working the night shift (12am to 8am) but they should treat everyone with respect. They also need to understand that not everyone might speak freaking Turkish nor English. Their patient level is at the lowest and that is unacceptable. I hope your experience here is better than this.

We had flights with Turkish Airlines and connection in Istambul more than 6 hours. We were surprised to know that we could use some options, that TA suggest: 1). Free excursion with free food; 2). 5-stars hotel accomodation. Pretty cool advantage, really enjoyed. Thanks TA for our experience!

Well connected metro service. Easy access to the airport arrivals and departures. Likewise, the metro will take you straight to the main city area. Sign posts self explanatory. Security presence palpable.
