Very nice place, so many of different regions trees and flowers available, food and drinks are not allowed to bring, only water. Car parking area is available but difficult to find empty place.

Decent park or "open air botanical museum" to spend time in. Reminds me of central park in NYC but this one's located at the outer reaches of the city and you need to pay a decent amount for admission. Also it is not allowed to bring food or do picnics inside. Parking is an issue on weekends if you want to drive up to the entrance. We avoided the main road and parked 10-15 mins walking distance away towards the west, which made things much easier for us. If visiting on weekend, I suggest planning for early morning and avoid the crowds.

Beautiful arboretum to visit with a large collection of trees. Very crowded on weekends if the weather is good. For autumn color lovers it is definitely a must-go. But don't forget the tree guide sold in the arboretum which will guide you throughout the park.

The place is very wonderfull and very amazing. Everybody should see this place to Relax and listen themselves. The nature is perfect and the lake is really nice. This place like dreamland and thanks to Atatürk for this place

It is a nice place to walk around and enjoy the trees, however 15TL is way over the top. How it can be only 5TL weekdays? The information boards are tatty and often illegible or completely missing from special trees. Tracks are poorly maintained except the major roadways.
You are entering a prison and paying for the privilege. You have a list of rules and anything involving eating, drinking or playing are banned. Fancy having a park in which you are not allowed to picnic! There are no facilities to buy drinks or food either. Most strange. Save your money and effort and visit any other of Istanbul’s other gardens or just head up the road and walk around in the Belgrade Forest for free and have just as much fun.response / report this review -

This place like a forest.. No guides for the roads.. The entrance is paved and then the road is unpaved.. Too much mosquitoes and no flowers at all.. Only trees.. I didn't like the lake.. All the animals are hungry and need food to live.. I didn't recommend it at all.. I do not know why they cost 15TRY to enter this place!!

Atatürk Arboretumu can be both described as a park and a small forest. It makes for a great hiking and picnic area. Great for day outs and getting away from the big city.
