Romantic 5-room well preserved guest house located in the old sector within the walls of the Ankara Castle. Rooms are small consisting of a queen-sized bed, TV, enclosed cloth closets, comfort chairs, and bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. Floors, ceilings, doors and frames are of massive wood and tinted dark-brown.
Our reservation included breakfast, which was great; a typical türkisch breakfast consisting of tea or coffee, egg, sausage, juice, cheese, jam, potatoes, olives, and bread. More than enough too get you through the first half of the day.response / report this review -

My wife and I stayed here in early October and had a wonderful stay. Levant was a gracious host and the location in the citadel, close to the bazaars and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations was a real privilege. Lovely turn of the century Ottoman decor and architecture (it was the home of one of the ministers in Mustafa Kemal's parliament) and great restaurants nearby. There's a lot of history and beauty in Ankara and this is a great place from which to base your exploration.
