  2 stars for manipulating, as I wrote. I not only warned them of the nature and vulnerability of my case which is already moving through the prosecution, but I prepared Av. Kaan with the necessary documents to gain any information necessary which would allow him to conclude as to whether or not he and his partners could accept my case. I emphasized that he should take interest in the information before we meet, even asking him to see over the documents so we don't waste our time at a meeting. However, he didn't do that. Instead, he brought me to the office and tactfully drained my energy, asking me all of the graphic and hard to tell details, as well as taking down all the personal information of persons involved.
  Such a tactic could make your or anyone believe any lawyer is ready to go head on asap and win over the courts in your favor, and could just as well make you even more vulnerable to accept their "work" as help. I realized they had gotten over on me when, after taking all those details they were aware were emotionally challenging for me, they then asked for 5000usd. I was shocked, as this would be the sum of 2 years of hard work for an average hard working Turk in a good position. Not shocked at the price gouging of a foreigner tho- it happens all the time in this country. Being docile here for 8 years and contributing to the country and paying my fees and taxes, I asked about this. Av. Kaan said straight out "we deal mostly with foreigners" and nothing he said after changed the fact that what he was saying, was that they take most advantage of the foreign clients and I see this as despicable, but I was not turned off to the idea they could do their job and in turn, "help" me. However, I never disagreed with their offer and fees. I reassured them there was no way I could come up with that much money immediately. While Av. Kaan refused a payment plan, the female JR lawyer left and came back with a different offer - 1000usd monthly, for 5 months. I could do better than that, I could do it in 3, infact, but that all was taken back after Av. Kaan left the meeting quickly, and without excuse, and then returned to say that he owner himself, who gave permission,had taken it back. I expressed my concern for them taking all me info, only to ask me for almost 5 times more than the best listed firms in Istanbul, and about 9 times more than an average cost for a Turkish lawyer for a criminal case, without extra fees and court costs. They did this understanding from the beginning Ive lived here 8 years, that my ex took all of my assets and drained me financially. I still did not disagree with their fees. I insisted to understand why the offer was withdrawn. Av. Kaan responded- with such a lack of integrity and in a way that both insulted and degraded me. After searching for an answer and being led to it by the female Jr lawyer, Av. Kaan answreed "yes this is a tough case so" and that was it. I asked how that changed anything, because they understood that from the beginning. Av. Kaan kept his head down and seemed to wait for me to have my say and leave, but I wanted to understand .Then Av. Kaan would go on a few times to insult me saying "we are workers. we are workingwe are workers, we need to be paid." The insult is due to the fact he talked down to me as if I was bargaining, and at no time was I. I explained because the nature of the case and the details I shared, that since a payment plan was possible, and since they did offer it, that they should follow through. I never asked for a deal. I never once disgraced their inflated fees. So, talking to me in that way as a response to what I was honestly expressing, is manipulating, an insult. In considering them for family law, I would not expect much. I was able to get a considerable amount of that 5000usd after asking family during our meeting, and even with just 2 hundreds of usd short, I could never trust their ethics and return to them.

  I had meet them more than 1 year ago, they helped me to buy a house and different thing, they are best and reliable. I am really glad to meet Mr. selcuk and I completely recommend him .

  The best lawyer in Istanbul helped us in finding a suitable property for Turkish citizenship, and within four months we got our Turkish passport.

  I don't recommend this firm to anyone. Specially foreign Investors like me. They are not professional and don't know how to talk with people. Very bad service.

  Başarılarınızın devamını diliyorum gerçekten büyük emek ve özveri harcıyorsunuz benimde bir sorum olacaktı cevaplarsanız çok mutlu olurum.
  
  Babamız bundan 8 sene önce vefat etti abimler bizi babamızın bankadaki parasını çekmemiz için hepimizden imza aldılar imza verdik sonra 2 abim gidip o imzalarımızı bir şekilde tapusuz oturdukları milli emlakta kayitli gecekondulari üzerlerine geçirmek için kullanmışlar benimde yeni daha haberim oluyor annemin vefatıyla birlikte haberdar olduk bu durumdan sanırsam muhtar senedi veya belediyeden tanıdık vasıtasıyla geçirdiklerini düşünüyoruz babamın üzerine olan yerleri yani babamızın mirasından yoksun bırakıldik istemedende olsa yakında o yerlerin tapusu verilecek bu durumda ne yapabiliriz dava hakkımız olurmu hakkımızı arayabilirmiyiz teşekkürler saygılar.

  İş ilişkimin feshi sürecinde danışmanlık hizmeti aldım. Olası bir dava durumunda da Akkaş Hukuk Bürosu ile çalışacaktım ancak danışmanlıkta edindiğim bilgileri kullanarak davaya gerek olmaksızın haklarımı elde ettim. Bu nedenle Akkaş Hukuk çalışanlarına teşekkürü borç bilirim.
