  After the chicken satay appetizer came I was amping up to write something really scathing since it was really quite terrible (dry and old tasting) but then we had the thom kha gai which was quite nice and the seabass which was really great so I had to correct myself. Still quite outrageously overpriced for Thailand (30 euros each with 2 beers each).

  Takieng or Lantern in Thai has a nice Thai style decor with beautiful ocean and pool view. Reservation is required to ensure good seatings by the window. Sitting outside can be problematic because of the mosquitoes at night.
  
  The patron are the mix of family with small children and older couples. At the time of my visit, there were about 6 tables with small children. That lessens the romantic ambiance. Based on my observation, the restaurant played Thai classical music which put the kids to sleep and gave the parents a nice quiet and romantic dinner they deserved. It is quite funny to see the crying babies slowly dozing off one by one by one. The staff was well trained and nice enough to put the comfy two chairs for the little ones to sleep soundly by the table.
  
  The menu also offers interesting local foods which allows tourist like me to taste them without the hassle of venturing out to the market.

  Second time at this place. One of the better ones in Mai Khao. Expensive but service and food is pretty decent. The place was good and they recommend us to eat at sandbox and order their food. But overall still a decent experience.

  This restaurant serve surprisingly good adaptation Thai food. Taste is authentic with the hint of fusion. Very interesting restaurant.

  휼륭한 타이 레스토랑이었습니다.
  특히 소프트크랩 커리와 오믈렛 형식의 팟타이는 최고였습니다. 참고로 금년부터 로컬 크래프트비어를 구비 중입니다. 사전예약이 반드시 필요한 곳입니다.
  
  Very nice Thai cusine especially soft crab with curry and omlette type pad thai(fried rice noodle) ware so amazing, must try items. Currently, they also serve some local craft beers.
  Need to reservation before several days.

  Good Thai Food and warm atmosphere. The restaurant is running busy, the waiting time is long. But who would care in this relaxing resort.
  
  Reservation is needed.
