Its not easy finding a good quality bar that serves international cuisine or farung food as the locals call it in Phuket.
There's plenty of choices in the Patong area but its generally far more expensive there. Even burgers at McDonalds are nearly twice the price in Patong.
If you don't mind travelling out a bit, you'll find Sugar Reef Sports Bar & Restaurant about half way between Patong and the airport.
Its very close to Surin Beach in Bangtao, Cherngtalay. Located opposite McDonald's and the Tesco Lotus supermarket.
Sugar Reef is a modern bar owned by Jamie from the U.K and is well known to the local expats for its quality English style food which includes Fish & Chips, Chilli Burgers, Homemade Quiche and Lasagne with Ricotta Cheese.
Offers outdoor seating, full range of beers and wine. Includes happy hour on beer, house spirits and cocktails for the ladies.
