Beautiful view and service once your get there. Have a positive attitude that's all. There is a lot of stairs to get there but is part of the excitement

Nice hotel with amazing views! You have to walk up quite a few stairs to get there, but it's quiet and away from the crazy beach party scene. Nice staff and rooms. Would stay again.

    Where do I start.

    1) 300+ steps to get to our room. Insanity. My mom almost died every single time we came back to the room.

    2) No shower curtain. Everything gets soaked.

    3) Electricity is iffy. AC had a bad smell and took so long to Cool the room. They came to change the filter for us but it still wasn’t good.

    4) Breakfast: why bother

    5) 7am Check out?! Are you kidding me.

    6) they helped carry out bags up the 300 steps when we arrived. Did not help us carry back down unless we waited 30 minutes for “someone to be available” — at our 7 am checkout time. Seriously?!

    7) The view was great. It’s basically on the way to two really amazing viewpoints that I highly suggest you take the hike for.

    Overall, never again.

This place is located high up the mountain (to where you have to carry your bags!). Nice view. Staff are friendly. Clean. Simple decor. Laundry is not available at the premises but there is a place very close. Water pressure in the shower is a bit low.
Safety box and ac are functional.

Pros: Nice view. clean. Ac. Safety box. On the way to a view point.
Cons: altitude (you don't want to forget something in your room). But hey its a good workout!

NOTE: after google maps tells you that you have arrived, turn left and start climbing.

Spacious room with good views. Most expensive place we stayed over 2 weeks, by about 2 times for similar standard. Maybe a phi phi thing. Good bar prices though. No room wifi, but a good national geographic channel. Noisy at night, but we were embarrassingly early to bed. Uncomfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff.

You have to lift 119 steps. They should better named it as cottage. The staffs are friendly and cooperative except the lady probably named Lilly sitting on the reception. I am astonished how a harsh and non cooperative, misbehaving lady like her served in reception of a hotel.

I wish I could give 10 stars for the service we received here. Overwhelmingly kind, attentive and thoughtful service, fantastic rooms, spectacular view. From the restaurant and our room you see the ocean, and the restaurant serves great food at a great price. They satisfy all your needs and cater for all requirements. When we arrived we received a cold drink they placed fans around us and gave us all info we needed to know. Super welcoming and staff works incredibly hard to make your stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Great place. Super friendly people. Food in restaurant is good. Only downside are the stairs. Good Lord, the stairs lol. It's a bit of a climb...and I'm in shape!

Solo traveller and stayed in the deluxe room. Highly recommend!! Was a nice change from staying in hostels! My view was absolutely amazing, staff are so kind and helpful, the food at the restaurant is so delicious, and you can't beat the view! Plus you're already over half way to the view point, which makes it an easy climb to the top! Lots of stairs make for a great exercise! Would come back in a heartbeat!!! :)

Great views and all the stairs are great exercise. All the people working are friendly and helpful. The room is well maintained but no pool and a bit further from the beach but the view makes up for that. I liked it enough that I've been here twice.

    Good point:
The view of resort is so good. You can see all around the island. (But cannot see at standard room.)
    Service is good.

    Bad point:
You have to meet terrible hill...
If you want to climb a kind of mountain, the cgoice is good.

    * if the room is hottter than outside, tell the counter. That is not normal...

Our stay at the hotel was a disaster.
The hotel is located in a hill and you need to walk more than 200 degrees until your room. If your are coming at night from a party or if you spent the day at the beach, this may be a challenge.
The staff is very unprepared and not service oriented. We requested to clean our room and they said they could only do that after cleaning all the others rooms. Also a friend was sick and I told them that the doctor was coming to see her at the hotel. When the doctor called to the hotel to confirm the address the same receptionist told them that nobody had requested a doctor. That was 10 minutes after I told her the doctor was coming.
They don't have phones in the room. The internet doesn't work in the rooms, only in the reception, and it's a really bad connection. And for some reason I didn't understand, they turn off the internet after midnight (so if you wants to go to the reception after this time to connect, you need to ask the receptionist to turn on it again).
Cleaning and hygiene is also a problem. The common areas are very dirty. The kitchen is dirty. The balcony of the rooms are dirty (they only clean the room, not the balcony).
