  Our favourite restaurant on Lanta! We found ourselves coming back to it every other day. Great margaritas. They do this great Mussaman Curry with Sweet potatoes that stole my heart! The best on the island. Amazing green curry too. We found the whole fish in 3 sauces, a tad too sweet for our liking though.
  The sweet sticky rice they make to go with the mango is a step above all the others I tried. Definitely recommend!

  Came here on a drive through on the way back to our hotel and we cannot praise them high enough. The food was outstanding, we had fillet steak and pizza!!! Staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. Couldn't do enough for us to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend Cook Kai xxxxxx

  Visited twice whilst staying on Long Beach. Lovely food for reasonable prices. Staff were great and the food arrived quickly. Really nicely decorated inside.

  Delicious food and pleasant service. We were there between lunch and dinner so it was quiet. The chicken satay was an excellent starter and I also recommend noodle soup with vegetables (can't remember the exact name). Easy access right by the road.

  Welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and well decorated spacious interior with a jungle hut feel. The food was good, tasted fresh and the prices were much more reasonable than the beach side restaurants on the other side of the road. Mixture of families and couples and would be idea for either (for more romantic tables head to the edges). The Tom Yum soup was very spicy!

  We are one week in Thailand and here it is the most delicious food we have tried so far! We do not like to much asian smelly food. Here it is awesome and nice. We racommand no 142 from menu which is chicken with basil leaves + rice + chiang beer and mango sticky rice for the dessert and your day is finished as supposed to :-)

  Amazing food. Jungle curry very spicy, had mum and dad with me who dont eat chilli at all and they catered to them perfect (papaya and a larb gai) will be here again tomorrow!

  Decent food and not that expensive
  
  The restaurant is at the main road. It has a decent ambiente and friendly staff.
  I had an excellent beef salad and an OK Chicken Satay.
  Prices are OK, cheaper than a resort/hotel, slightly more than a real street food place.
  I think it's worth a second try....

  We went back to Cook-kai again and again to enjoy delicious Thai food at mid-range prices. It's a family-run restaurant and most of the furniture has even been made by family members. The curries are superb and I especially enjoyed the glass noodle seafood salad.

  I ordered a pizza that was very basic, it was also obvious that it was ready-made from the store. I had ALOT of small ants on my table. The staff was okay. Location and wifi was good.
