  Breakfasts are great ( pancakes are out of this world ). They do take their time to prepare ours but was very pleased with the serving.

  Their Spaghetti Carbonara was the best pasta dish I have had whilst being in Thailand; creamy, cheesy and the pasta was cooked perfectly - the other times we have had pasta in SEA it has always been way overcooked. On the other hand, the dishes are rather expensive (hence knocking off a star). We paid 610 baht for two soft drinks and two pasta dishes. Still good value if you're a foreigner comparing it to prices back home.
  
  That being said, if you're craving some food from back home (like we we're) Art Cafe Restaurant should be your first choice.

  Art Cafe is a cute little central cafe in downtown Chiang Mai. Nice views of city traffic and Thai Phae gate. Tons of options on the menu with huge portions of food, however the drink sizes seemed a little small but tasty. Free wifi and walking distance from hotel so I would return again. Lots of dessert options!!

  Big portions, at a decent price.
  
  Big selection, but average quality.
  
  Don't bother with drinks, overpriced for what you get (50% is just ice).
  
  Mocha comes 1/3rd full in a cup with 2/3 whip cream.
  
  Food took about 30 minutes to arrive.
  
  Don't regret going, but will not return. There's better restaurants in Chiang Mai.

  Even though this place from the outside looked very modern and clean this was fake. The first and last time I was there I found a worm in my plate. While eating a nacho salad, that arrived after 30 minutes, I saw a worm moving. This is not acceptable! We order as an appetizer four portions of nachos, only one arrived after the main dish. When the food arrived we didn't have any cutlery and we had to ask for it three times. Finally, we had to go downstairs and get the forks and the knives ourselves.The waitresses were very nice and sorry but it didn't make up for the bad experience. Last but not least there were lizards on the ceiling which made the experience even worse.

  The chicken appetizer that was supposed to be spicy, had no flavor and was pretty dry. Not even spicy from pepper. The ham egg and bacon sandwich was decent. Eggs were over cooked and turned green. Not really a great experience overall. Even took 10 just to get the check. Also pretty sure I gave a higher denomination bill than I got change for.

  My friends and I were so thrilled to have found this delicious restaurant! The owner, she is WONDERFUL! She is remarkably friendly and kind, we were so grateful to talk with her. She was just opening as the five of us walked in, and our coffee was piping hot and so so good! Each one of us LOVED our meals, they were the best breakfast we'd had by far. Absolutely awesome. We're going back for dinner tonight!!
