We remain friends and promoters of African cultures. To us travelling is not only an adventure made of tracks, deserts and forests, it is mostly AN ADVENTURE OF THE SPIRIT.

TransAfrica is the first tourism company focused on the rich and spectacular heritage of African culture. Our pioneer database is made of 30 years of field experience and it includes traditional festivals, local ceremonies, dances, mask events, market days, adobe architectural villages and remote settlements.

We organize comfortable tours using the best available hotels and our itineraries are known to be the most adventurous one and to be “out of the beaten track”. Our tours provide cooks, modern and tropicalized camping equipment.

All our programs have a high cultural value that characterise TransAfrica. We are the first to have included in our itineraries tribal festivals such as Akwasidae in Ghana; adobe painted houses, fire dances, original mask festivals in Burkina Faso; authentic Voodo ceremonies, Afro –Portuguese carnival in Bissau; unique salt water hippos, manatee and turtle nesting in Bijagos archipelago.
