The mattresses are way past their useful period. Had to use cold water. The sheets are not changed. A woman was assaulted and abducted and possibly raped. She screamed and cried in the early hours. Two men possibly security guards there took her away screaming. Kitchen useable. Toilets were clean.

We absolutely loved the setting of legends backpackers, the rooms were clean, with comfortable beds, if you don't mind walking to the bathroom and toilet (if you rent a private room you get a private bathroom and toilet which you share with 1 other private room)then this backpackers is excellent value for money for a short nights stay, it has beautiful forest scenery , vibey atmosphere and staff are very helpful. Across from the backpacker is a piazza area with 2 reasturants and a wine boutique which was vibey and an all round good experience.

We stayed here in October 2017. Found it very colourful, clean and very well thought out, rooms clean and spacious, but I would recommend bringing an extension lead.
Self-catering kitchen was very big and we'll stocked with a decent fridge to store food.
Not really sure what the people below are refering to, I found the bathrooms very nice; modern, clean and in good nick. We unfortunately didn't have hot water, but wasn't serious as it was hot.
The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
One thing is that loud music was playing constantly from early in the morning to late at night when there weren't even enough guests to justify opening the bar. I'm not an old fuddy-duddy, but I'm sure people would like to sleep/rest whether on holiday or on business.
All round though, a very funky, but peaceful, organised place to go, I would recommend and revisit.

Beautiful hostel with incredible staff. From the ladies who give you information to the night porter. Great location with a few cheeky monkeys in the mix makes this place a lovely venue with hammocks and a fire pit.

As some people already remarked the shower facilities could be better, but overall still a worthy stay

It was good, nice place and nice people. Nice terrace to meet up with other guests and talk, have a beer... Just showers and toilets could be better and if you sleep in tent there is no nice grass.
