We enjoy every moment at this park. Staff are friendly and we see a lot of animals. Lunch is reasonable price and taste good.

WE SAW RHINOS! We got up early for a ride and were able to witness 10 beautiful rhinos rather quickly! We even saw 5 lions the night before during the sunset ride! The place was very nice, good food, and friendly staff! You can even mail postcards from there :)

Very good place to see wild animals. Is not a very big park and you can see in the same day lions, elephants and rhinos very close! The workers of Hlane were very friendly and they helped us with some problems. Great place!

Nice place to visit and stay overnight. Bit far from capital. Lots of animals including elephants, lions, Hippos, Rhinos and zerafs(not always visible during mid day trip).
    Early morning tour is recommended.

A very beautiful nights stay. A warm and welcoming atmosphere accompanied by roaring Lions in the distance and a Fish Eagle perched in plain view of the guests. A delicious meal was had for supper in a beautiful outdoor dining hall. Overlooking a watering hole where two Rhino tussled, stirring up dust and providing great entertainment as the sun set.

An off the grid Game Reserve is truly a gem in this day and age. No audacious franchise restaurants to disturb your peace and solitude. Pure bliss.

Hlane National Park is a small but cosy park. Be advised though: the safaris are in a game reserve, not a national park. Those looking for the full nature experience should look elsewhere. Those who want an easy way to see some of Africa's most beautiful large animals have come to the right place. Seeing white rhinos, elephants and lions is nearly guaranteed. The camp is a simple laid back place with friendly staff and view of a watering hole.

Quiet, peaceful, really cool Afrucan bush experience. We rarely encountered other vehicles in the park, which was awesome compared to other National parks in SA.

Elephant, rhino and giraffe were common, with a good mix of angulates too. If you are into reptiles and insects, this park will work for you with birding particularly good too. We spotted monitor lizards 4 times, a wide variety of spiders, lizards, a black mamba and a field mouse as some of our more unusual finds.

Hlane is a little different though as lion are kept in a separate, really large encampment that is not accessible to self drive guests. While signs were abundant, we struggled to find hyena and other predators.

In all, Hlane is a great destination that beckons relaxation, rest and tranquility. The Swazi people are very proud of Hlane, as they rightfully should be: this park has a long and distinguished anti-poachung history and has come a long way in all respects relevant to conservation. It is also held in trust by none other than the Swazi King, Mswati III.

We would recommend around a 3 day stay. Prices and accomodation are good, people friendly and late afternoon sundowners at Ndlivo camp's restaurant is a must.

This is a very nice, clean resort, with friendly staff and good food. Add to that the view on the water hole with rhinos popping in regularly and you have the perfect weekend getaway.

Nice little wild park in Swaziland. Big campsites and good restaurant with view. very clean! There is no electricity in the park though the abscence is no miss. They have gaslanterns to light the place. Tracks are well maintained and there are big chanches to see rhino's as well

Great wildlife park. The self-drive area has a lot of rhinos. The main rest camp has a great view of a pool filled with hippos and rhinos lounging around it.

Hlane wouldn't be my priority when visiting Swaziland but I really don't regret my stay. I camped for one night at Ndlovu Camp and ate at the restaurant (very good with great prices by the way!). Campsites were very clean, especially the toilets and shower, which were beautifully lightened with candle lamps during the night. During the self drive we didn't see many animals, only a few antelopes, zebras and giraffes all concentrated in the same area. But the morning game drive drove us to the area of the park where lions are located and it was very nice as the guide really took the time to stay with the group of 7 lions. Afterwards we saw a group of elephants playing for about 15 minutes. I had never seen that in 3 years living in Africa, so I was quite happy! When we got back to the camp 3 rhinos were right in front of the guests close to the waterhole, on the other side of the fence. We could enjoy seeing those animals peacefully rest a few meters away from us. Of course the Park is ridiculously small if compared to Kruger and other great Parks in Africa, but still it is a quite special Park for it's tranquility, great Camp, smiley staff and delicious food.

The park is small. It's divided in animal sections, and because of this is easier to see lions!

Get closer to one of the big five ...Rhinos were as closer as 50 meters...while observing and taking pictures of rhinos...we heard some branches cracking as we turned toward the noise ...guess what we saw two elephant 🐘 moving toward as to the water 💦 direction...at that pointing time Panic likely for us the 4X4 vehicle was not to far we jumped into...then went to close to those pachyderms that was amazing...this park does not have lots animals but the enclosure with animals such as Rhinos ,or hippos...makes you love the challenge and the danger even more ...here the park offers you some others activities

Amazing experience. We saw a lot of game and had the best time in the very beautiful apartments. In front of the restaurant there is a waterhole where you watch rhinos and impalas all day long while having your drink!
