  We had a great grouper sandwich and the hostess/waitress, Carmela, was most helpful and gracious. This is a rare instance where a very expensive lunch was worth it because of the meal, the service and the ambiance.

  The crab crusted tilapia was fantastic but the Caribbean lobster left a lot to be desired. According to Destination magazine, that we received on our American Airlines flight, voted the best seafood restaurant in St Maarten, the lobster was more along the quality of all you can eat buffet lobster. Very disappointing and then the price of $89.99 for one bad lobster just egged on the disdain. Dining on the water seems so intriguing but with no fans where we were sitting to cool off in July, we sweated through the entire dinner. For the money I expected a lot more. I lobster dive for fun in Florida and for the price I would have been better off waiting till I could take the boat out and hunt one down on my own. Will not return.

  Highly priced for the quality of food. Tried the food and instantly felt sick so packed the rest of the food. Ate the food next day, still give me stomach issues. Was disappointed to pay way more than manhattan (NYC) price while get sick. Stay away

  Rats running in packs outside of the place. I was sitting in the corner facing the water. The owner said the rats were from the place next door. We moved our table , the food was just edible . I would have thought besides saying,"we are near water and rats live near water"should have not been the answer. The place did not offer us anything to apologize for RATS, The place should be closed down. To write a review a star has to appear. No stars just RATS.

  Had dinner at skip Jackson. Service was good. We had a large crowd and they accommodated us very quickly. Food was okay. My dinner was the grouper special. It tasted ok. My wife had the lobster. It was better than mine I would recommend this place if your not in the mood for driving across the island in traffic.

  Excellent seafood and even better service! Very authentic and local joint with some very local delicious fish.
  Every trip I eat there at least 3 times. Highly recommend!!

  Every year we go to St Maarten Skip Jacks is always included in our plans. Great food and have always been treated well. All of the different foods have been fresh and the drinks are always flowing.
