  This was the first place we dined after arriving in Sint Maarten. The atmosphere was very good. The service was slow and the prices on the high side. Our food was good, but nothing different from many corporate chains in the states. We were given a choice for water, sparkling or flat. We chose flat believing that would be tap water. Nope 6 dollar water.

  Had the crusted sea bass first time, and the peppercorn sauce steak both were very good choices. Atmosphere and staff was very good.

  OUTSTANDING! Micheal at the bar is helpful inviting, Aussie is a friendly face along with the rest of the wait staff. Mike and Teresa could not be better owners of this Oasis!

  Great food & service!! I visit every year and the seafood is consistently fresh & seasoned to perfection. The manager and staff are very accommodating. The new chef is Wendell is amazing!!

  Don't eat at big fish restaurant!! Dangerous!!
  
  There was a big piece of glass (1,5cm) in my mash potato and that caused a small cut in my tongue.
  
  The owner didn't care, they didn't even apologize. I've never been treated this way!
  
  Sint Martin is an amazing island with amazing restaurants on Michelin-level. Enjoy but away from big fish!

  The service and friendliness of the staff was really outstanding. I thought the feel of the restaurant was very welcoming as well, though the large plastic armchairs aren't my style. The food is expensive, but absolutely delicious. The menu emphasizes local fish, and is artfully presented. It was worth the splurge for us!
