    Love the location and it's very clean and cosy the only problem is the parking it's on a slopped hill and that makes parking very difficult at times

    Clean with full kitchen, good shower, good water pressure. Balcony is a little small but it's sufficient. Handicap accessible. Staff is friendly and helpful.

    Second time not a charm
    Let me start my saying I chose this hotel because of the pleasant time I had last year and for sentimental reasons. The reservation process was a horror and took multiple emails and phone calls to arrange. My fiance was arriving three days before me and would spend 2 nights in a regular room before transferring to the "Sunset Suite". I supplied my Amex to hold the room and my fiance advised the front desk that I would be paying with a different credit card upon arrival. Needless to say, on the day he was transferring from the room to the suite they closed out the bill on the Amex (at an additional 2.5% cost) and then tried to charge my Amex for the suite. The front desk put through four authorizations before Amex declined the authorization and called me at 8:30 on Sunday morning suspecting fraud.
    Upon arrival I found the "suite" to be ok. Clean but vertical blinds missing/broken & the kitchen light was not working. I notified the front desk regarding the light and it was only addressed after I made a second complaint 2 days later. On what I believe was the fourth day of our stay we received a notice in the room that we would only get "Lite housekeeping" that day (they would take away the trash and give fresh towels). I don't for a minute believe there was an emergency that caused them to be short handed and even so, compensation should have been given. Their staffing problem shouldn't become my problem. I complained to the front desk...I'm still waiting for a credit as I did not receive full services contracted for on that date. PARKING, per my prior review, TIGHT and very little. Last night of our stay my fiance was parking TWO BLOCKS away until you guessed it..I complained and the hotel let us park under the building. Continental breakfast is pre-packaged, roll with 1 slice of cheese, 1 slice of lettuce, 1 slice of turkey. Cereal & a pastry. Some of the staff were helpful, two had real attitudes. This is SLOW season, aside from the fact that rooms were being advertised at a lesser rate AFTER I booked, there were many other hotel with better amenities at a lesser rate. Overall, really disappointed. Will not be going back.
