I am very unpleasant with the services!
My husband went from Cape Verde to dakar to do the biometrics for UK Visa and the UK visa department said that they didn't receive nothing from Tls dakar!
And when I try to call them the number doesn't work!
And you don't even have an email that we can contact!

I want all of the documents back!!!

I am not satisfied with TLS services. First of all they ask you to print out your appointment confirmation before getting in. If you show them the electronic version on your phone, they act as if they were blind by keep asking for the paper version. Same when you collect the visa they ask you to bring the receipt (paper version). If you dont have it or loose it they will not return you your passport. TLS are you aware of the environmental ecosystem. Every organisation try to do their best to go paperless. Whats wrong with you guys? Dont you know we are in 2023. Appointments, receipts and others could be sent electronically, by email to save time, money and papers.
Second the waiting time is way too long, they took my fingerprints & documents 03 hours after the appointment time meanwhile the chairs are not comfortable at all and the waiting room is tiny. They show no consideration for their customers. Zero (0) is the best rate for me to give to TLS for their services.

From the reception to the exit, the exchanges with the agents were cordial and friendly while remaining in the correctness and professionalism. The wait wasn't long either. THANKS

The waiting hours are so long. The service seems to be slow.
We are asked to leave our phones out of the hall, if the time we can't read. For those who take permission at their work, this puts them in such a discomfort.

The new visa site is not easy to be identified, so everything should be put in place to assist applicants. How can a guard refuse to direct an applicant because he didn't hear when this applicant greeted him?

A lot has to be done at this new site.

    Thank you

TLS sent me an email saying that my passport was ready for collection, also put that on the tracking application. But when I went there, they said they didn't have it. Not to mention that the decision takes waaaay more than the 3 weeks advertised for my VISA type.
There isn't even a way to contact them.

This is the worst experience I ever had in terms of visa application and I have been all around the world. First of all, they make you pay around 700$ for an express service, which is supposedly a 7 days processing time. By the time you get to your appointment, you will find out it’s at least 15 days! Normal processing time! So they literally steal money from you! Then, from there it’s complete black out! You won’t get any feedback, they hold your passport, leave you in the dark and you have no number to reach them! After 20 days, I receive an email from the UK visa team, stating that a decision was made and passport was dispatched to TLS. At this stage again, it will take another week or more for them to return your passport. It’s a complete mess, you get stranded for a month with no communication and all your plans are ruined. Please improve, this is not a good way to run a business.

I am writing this to inform of my experience with the United Kingdom Visas & Immigration center in Dakar, Senegal, Africa. This is by far the worst experience I have every had as a customer. I submitted an application for a visa from Senegal because I was there on vacation. First of all, the application fee is $207, without it being priority. This is more expensive than any visa I have ever applied for. The Schengen visa fees were less than $80 and processing time is not even 10 business days. The regular application process for the UK is supposed to take up to 15 business days. It is now more than the regular processing because I submitted my application June 16th . I booked flights to other places for well in advance of when I expected my visa. I have lost many flights and hotel room reservations and still do not have my passport and I am unable to leave the country. I was suppose to be in different forums for school and and seminary for my job in Europe right now and was unable to go because I still do not have my passport back. Also well, they are totally impossible to reach. They do not respond to emails and there are no phone numbers. You have to call the immigration services in the UK, who also charge £1.37 per minute on top of your standard network charges. Emails inquiries also cost £5.48 per email. It has been way past 15 days and at this point I have also tried to cancel my application because I just want my passport back despite a decision. I was told the withdrawal would be a whole other process and in itself can take an additional 5-15 business days. There is no way they should still have my passport. At this point, I just regret the whole process and wish I never even applied. I don't know if the problem is because the embassy in Senegal and they do not respect Africans or whatever the situation may be but we are not treated with respect. This would never be the case in a different continent. This is inform all of you guys planning to ask the UK embassy for visas, be very careful and again my question is do we deserve that treatment ?
