  Came here often to borrow books, hang out, chill out from hot weather, do research before I have internet. Can be crowded, seats are limited.

  A big library with a huge collection of books of all genres. Great modern interiors and a well maintained place. A very quiet environment and great place to relax. However, staff were not very helpful and did not assist me in finding some books I wanted and instead told me to "use their computers to find it myself".

  This heartland library has a unique charm of its own that is unmatched by other libraries. Love the cosy feeling here. Gets rather cold though.

  Really like the staff here. They are polite and helpful. However, I wish they had wayyyyy more tables on Saturdays and Sundays

  I like this library because first, it is organized by having different levels for different age groups,and two, it is very quiet and cozy. Better than the average public libraries which have small children running about.

  One of the best places in Toa Payoh with a good read and a quiet zone. I love how the library has different floors to cater to different age groups which make book hunting a lot easier.

  Building looks old but inside looks better. The last time I went even have a station by Singapore Power to let you charge your mobile phone for free.

  One of the oldest library in Singapore. Nice history of the library charted out at the stairway and they had been catching up to technology with ebooks loans and emagazines viewing stations

  Toa payoh library. Good collections, central location. Staff are helpful and friendly. Oh, and check out the history wall in the stairwell, spanning 3 stories and ranging from the 1960's through to the 2010's! That's cool! 😎
