Description

SIM Indian Society, or SIS, is a student-initiated cultural society founded by a group of passionate people, with two main goals/drivers: a) Retain & promote Indian culture, while integrating it with the Singaporean culture b) Bridge the gap between our universities' local and international Indian population.

Till date, SIS has organized a plethora of cultural events such as Holi, Deepavali & Dandiya. SIS was also part of the organization committee and took part in the annual Inter-University Cultural Festival – TARANG. TARANG is a highly coveted, and one of the most prominent, Indian Cultural events at the post-tertiary level, and has something for everyone. Here, members are given opportunities to partake in several cultural performances & compete in different sports of their choice, and are given the honor to represent our university!

Over & above everything, SIS aspires to welcome all fellow Indians into our little community within SIM, where we hope to bring to you a sense of home away from home, a sense of belonging. So come along, and be a part of the biggest cultural society on campus!
