Classical ballet technique based on the Vaganova pedagogy is taught here at Russian Ballet Academy. Artistic director Meiyi Li is the first Singaporean to have been accepted to the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia, and has also completed the Bolshoi Ballet Academy's Method of Classical Dance Instuction for Elementary and Intermediate classes in their training intensives.
