  I am really impressed by the school's young graduates and care and concern they give to their juniors, and as a parent I feel that this is something unique and worth sharing. My girl graduated last year (currently in JC), and I was heartened to learn that one of her seniors from CCA had offered help to guide her along for her subjects during her graduating year.
  
  This young lady (currently in NUS) was waiting to enter a local university and is working part time at the point in time, but had devoted her off-time to coach my girl for different subjects and giving advises on how to revise effectively. She even lend part of her Chemistry notes as reference and kept track of my girl's progress, which eventually allowed my girl to get into her dream JC.
  
  I got to know of this whole story recently, as my girl was sharing that she wanted to go back to help out along with her former classmates, to help more of her juniors just like what her senior did. This kind of culture and sense of commitment is really commendable. Really appreciated the positive experiences that the school had provided my girl with and the kind efforts by this warmhearted girl that my girl crossed path with.

  Was a photog in NCHS when I was a student. Nan Chiau High taught me a lot and saw my transformation from a playful and aimless boy to a disciplined and resilient youth who knows what he wants to do. I just want to say that the name doesn't put anyone here to indignity, but instead it held a glorious history and heritage as the name of a top notch institution in the 70s, just like where it presently stands. I am proud of my alma mater as a premier school just like many others who spent their youthful years here.

  Nan Chiau High gave me a quite distinctive feel. I came from a SAP school decades ago, and the institution instilled in the students the kind of willingness and spirit to "chiong" for nothing less than the best outcome, which quite impressed me. This is a very prominent and timeless indication of a school of high standards.
  
  As a visitor and prospective parent, I would say Nan Chiau would have been one of the top performing schools looking at their studious, humble attitudes and their disciplined culture.

  I would say Nan Chiau High is quite a well rounded school. The school isn't overly Chinese oriented as what most people detested it as. In fact, the school is very strong in their maths and sciences on top of their languages as an SAP school. So my advise to all is honestly don't be too obsessed with the "Chinese" identity of the school but really look at the strengths of the school.

  I would use "a lovely place" to describe my alma mater here. Nan Chiau High filled most of my most memorable times as a student. The impression of my years is that this is the place that I won't mind waking up at 5am every morning for. Every time, we would all sit as a class in the canteen or at the breezy quadrangle, chat about basically anything and crack jokes till its time to get up for assembly. Its something that really defines us as NCzens.
  
  We are in a way competitive but the whole process is not stressful or daunting. In fact, I enjoyed the company and a lot of times we are all willing to help each other out, especially those who are good at certain subjects. Perhaps its the team spirit in us that made the difference, whether we were classmates, CCA mates or basically schoolmates. Its just natural to us to come forward to help one another out when we see someone struggling somewhere.
  
  Glad that the tradition still remains and this is something that bonds generations of us as NCzens. To me, Nan Chiau is much more than just a school.

  Nan Chiau High School changed a lot since I graduated years ago, there is now a lot of dedicated study areas around the school, and there is a new auditorium. During my years at NCHS, I am very fortunate to have very dedicated teachers and principal that cared for us a lot. The teachers offered me extra consultations to help me understand my maths and physics that pulled me through my O Levels to get to a good JC. (A special thanks to Mr Chan and Mr Lee).

  My alma mater. Its a very well established institution in Singapore offering the SAP Bi-cultural Studies Programme. The school also had ample quality resources that cater to our study needs.

  My beloved alma mater. Nan Chiau High had a tradition of excellence and care towards one another, and I benefitted a lot from it. The chers are fun and strict and the same time, and always cared for our well being. There is nothing of eliticism, the culture I strongly felt was really one that is humble and on the ground, which is the very reason I choose to join the school.
  
  Still remembered our Math teacher taking on an extra role as our 2nd Co-form teacher and gave us invaluable advises ranging from academic study to attitudes in life. He retired after 40 years into teaching but we all maintained good relationships with him, he is just like a friend and mentor who truly understands us.
  
  My peers are also very open and approachable. My classmates aside (we are not classmates, but close friendz), I had an enjoyable time in my 2 CCAs (I was in Red Cross and Robotics) The seniors are always there to guide us, even outside of CCAs, giving us helpful tips base on their experience. They are always ready to go an extra mile when we need help or when we feel sad.
  
  To sum it up, my 4 years with Nan Chiau High was fulfilling and is one of the most enjoyable years of my teenage life.

  Nan Chiau High gave me precious memories as a student, and is a place that I really treasure. It is very fitting to say Nan Chiau have a intrinsic caring culture, being experienced the most in my four years there. Despite being one of the burdens of the class as a quiet and emotional girl, my teachers and peers, especially the boys (contrary to what many thought would be). My classmates cared a lot for me and supported me over the numerous hurdle in school, from coaching me in my schoolwork to escorting me home on rainy days, after night studies and when I was ill despite the additional distance. It is not something that any ordinary friends would do. Some of them continued to be my best school mates in JC. I am very sure that the friendships with my teachers and classmates are those that I would never forget. :)

  The school tried a lot of new initiatives, from online systems to academic programmes that link up language culture and modern tech skills. It is by far the most active SAP school that I have seen in terms of improving student learning experience and value-addedness.

  The school had a good balance between emphasis on biculture and the exposure on modern technology and skills. Its something that is we thought only possible in integrated programme schools. The whole student environment is also quite pleasant.

  Nan Chiau have been a lovely place , a true second home. It have been eventful throughout my four years in NC and my teachers and peers are always there to support me along the journey.   Nan Chiau High is known for its intuitive caring environment and strong school spirit. The school is peaceful yet constantly pushing you to strive to be better. The teachers are friendly yet motivating. I must admit the demanding teachers are harsh in their words at times but it is ultimately driving at the motive to ensure that we correct our bad habits and to learn with the right attitude (something I am grateful for). The four years is the one that shaped my character the most, apart from my 2 years at HC.

  I loves this schools very the much. I thinks that its the best schools ever. THe teachers are very goods to the students, classrooms has qualities, cares for the welfares of the students, and teachings styles are very goods.
