The famous Swedish home furniture shop with restaurant and food shop. All the bigger and smaller bits and pieces one needs to start off in the first own place, including some decent food. For a quick and straightforward shopping use the late hours during the week (up to 11pm). On weekends it's packed with 3 generation families camping in every possible space.

Currently packed with shoppers on a Sunday.
Well managed by the IKEA team especially the restaurant. Entry to the restaurant was very well managed despite the crowd.
Food were good with reasonal pricing. Nice experience and orderly managed. Well done IKEA 👏

One-stop shopping place for home furnishing, fittings & fixtures. This place has improved in variety & experience each time i come, it’s better than the original IKEA Alexandra now, cleaner & less crowded. Love the baby ribs here!

First, (staff said that) acrylic kitchen counter worktops will no longer be available/ new alternatives will be significantly more expensive, and the earliest possible kitchen planning appointment is two weeks away.

Second, curtain rods (unlike bathroom shelves) do not indicate that screws are excluded - which I discovered only upon unpacking for installation and had to rush down again to buy them separately.

Third, I had to wait 40 minutes just to return a simple unopened tv bench - which finished in about a minute - despite only a few other people before me because staff were just hanging around leisurely.

Last, the reason I travelled all the way down to Tampines was to get the shower shelf (for my intended set) that was sold out at Alexandra, but despite supposedly being the bigger/ main branch Tampines did not have the towel rail that was in stock at Alexandra!

    IKEA is a total nightmare.

I would rate this place better than the Alexandra branch because it is more spacious and hence feels less crowded. And next door and across the road are the hypermarket and electrical and home appliances mega store. You can get all your home needs in one location.

IKEA Tampines is bigger than the one in Alexandra. It's easier to choose what you like from potted plants, curtains, lightings, home accessories, cupboards, cabinets, sofa, beds, desks and the list goes on... as the showroom is spacious and more items are being displayed. Restaurant here is also bigger and there's a small area for children to play and dine there. Not to mention if you drive, you can easily find a parking lot and it's free parking.

Big and spacious place for your house decorating items. Popular restaurant is always crowded but truth be told the quality has dropped. Maybe due to its success, fast-serving items are replacing good old ones. Baked potatoes are replaced with powdered mash potatoes. Meat balls are definitely poorer quality compared to the old. But still the people lapped them all up

Ikea is a reasonably priced furniture store that has pioneered affordable living and home furnishing. The food served in the restaurant is decent and value for money, good for a quick snack when all day shopping. Overall decent place to purchase furniture and make sure that you have a full day booked for touring this huge extravaganza.

Good place for getting interiors for the house, right from curtains, carpets to blankets and lighting. The food section has a good spread too. The sinages could be improved and more helpful sales staff. None are around or look keen to help when approached.

All in one place to buy your household furniture, accessories, bedding, decor and etc... offer deliveries with a certain amount of fee not more than 300 dollars depends on the weight and distance... They have a 1 dollar ice cream sundae in a cone that is a must try when you are there...nearby the checkout area... It operate on an automatic dispensing machine but you need to get the token at the cashier for one dollar before you enter it to the auto ice cream dispensing machine... The ice cream is creamy and smooth and the best thing it is cheap... They also offer assembling service to customers who don't wanna fuss over their installment process for a certain fee.

Family's favorite IKEA location now because it is larger than the one in Alexandra and has more parking space. We love getting things big and small for the home here. Especially love stocking up on the meat and veggie balls from their supermarket. Kids are always hungry and want food when they get here though so beware of the lure from what's cooking in their kitchens.... namely the fried chicken wings that are really good.

Great place to find the items you need for your home, ranging from decorative items like plants, curtains and soft toys, to furniture like sofas, tables and chairs, to household items like glassware. Even has a mini grocery store, as well as a cafe and snack bar with delicious and cheap food (mostly Swedish products). Toilets are well-maintained and the place has free WiFi, though you will need to provide your name and email.

Specifically reviewing the play area. Allowed in is based upon height. Except sometimes my child is allowed in, sometimes not. While of the same height. Very inconsistent and disappointing for her and us. Also now must fill out information in duplicate. Double work for no good reason. Someone please take charge of this mess.

Actually if you were to calculate delivery cost, time cost in looking for items and self-assembly, it's not really that economical. Service is quite slow as well sometimes. On the facade, it's furniture are quite cheap and good, but not really feasible if you have no time to assemble it. I would recommend v.hive furniture, they have free assembly and delivery as well. It saves your tremendous amount of time, and it's not really that expensive compared to IKEA. Just my 2cents worth as I have well purchased a lot of furniture from here. Thank you.

Everybody's favourite Swedish hangout. Cant go wrong with comforting food like chicken wings and delicious meatballs. Queues can be long during weekends but move relatively fast. Came here for food mainly and tour the place for home decoration and ideas. Love the huge warehouse feel with high ceiling near the check outs

Showroom of deceptively elegant furniture and market halls of eclectic wares, good for the leisurely afternoon stroll. Badly designed big furniture, including the purported "solid wood" ones. "Self assembly" workmanship and particle board materials are usually bad combination for safety, esp. if you have very small children at home. The "hand carry" items such as small stools and glassware appear to be of better quality.

So many furniture options suiting your needs, customizations and budget.. you can just visit the cafe and relax if you're not buying anything. There is also daily essential wares such as kitchen cutlery, etc. apart from furniture.
Tip: visit Ikea Singapore website to check for products availability before you go to shop easier.
Location is not near public transportation. Arrange taxi or own vehicle. Delivery of goods is not free as well and check rates before you enter for shopping to get idea or else you will know only after you make purchases.

Very creative layout. Family friendly. Might get confusing to navigate but there are prominent sign boards. Self fix furniture that you can grab and go or ask for delivery for. Customer service is ok.

A place for people of all ages. Their meals served at the restaurant is really incredible. One can visit IKEA solely for the food. For those who might not be aware, they serve breakfast as well! A plate of waffles, hashbrown and scrambled egg for $3. That's quite a steal!

Choose this branch over the one in Alexandra. It's much bigger, so the crowd is less dense. Larger warehouse means your item's less likely to be out-of-stock. In fact, Tampines branch carries some items that the Alex one doesn't. Picking up merchandise is also far more convenient and organized. Car park is extremely spacious (lotsa lots and loading bays) and completely FREE. Not to mention, it's flanked by Giant and Courts. So you can pick up furniture, electronics and groceries in a single trip! So, again, skip Alexandra. Head east.

It's super love environment as it's clean and cool place for a family outing or relaxation. We initially wanted to go to get a table but ended up filling our minds with all possible design details for our home and good food at the same time. I only hope that they greatly improved the coffee quality by installing an espresso machine instead of the huge towers which pumps really diluted coffee. Other than that the food is amazing and the staff are always at hand to help.

Classic Ikea store. The larger one of the two in Singapore. Always crowded, esp the cafe, but the checkout keeps moving very quick. I've generally doing them to be well stocked.

Great place to shop for furniture, gardening and cooking stuff! But when it comes to the cafeteria, it gets packed with lots of people during peak periods like lunchtime and dinnertime. So be prepared to see long queues there. One more point, it even has halal food there!

A place where all singaporeaan will definitely visit once in a lifetime especially for new home owners! They've got tons of creative ideas on how to setup a new room, from baby to adults to dining and living rooms... their decorations and furnishing is always changing and updated regularly! It changes with festive seasons... There's also a "As-Is" area at counter 22 near check out! There's a play area for kids. Nice restaurants with yummy food (especially chicken wings)!

This is a good place to indulge in simple western fare but be prepared to queue during lunch and dinner hours and more so on weekends. Sometimes the feeling is as though half the population of Singapore congregates here for meals. If anything else go for the Swedish meatballs and the fried chicken wings which had gained iconic status in IKEA.
