We have been wanting to dine at Grand Shanghai after visiting it years back. And it sure didn't disappoint!

The ambience was good, will be even better had there be live singing (hopefully soon!). We had the smoked tea crispy duck, which was our favourite. The chicken with wonton soup was great too, we can't stop having second and third helpings of it. And I enjoyed the longetivity peach bun a lot!

Service at Grand Shanghai was great too. Our server Brenda was attentive and the manager Vincent even sang my mum happy birthday song in three languages! Looking forward to be back again soon to try other dishes!

Me and my buddies like this place to wine and dine, in a "Shangai cabaret style" atmosphere. But because of Covid19 restrictions, we cannot have a wild party, and the stage-singers have packed their bags. We can only now stop by to order take-away food, which is reasonably good. We look forward for the singing, and the stage singers to return, and have a bash!

Excellent upscale Chinese restaurant. The staff is super friendly, the dishes are really good. Definitely on the pricey side for Chinese food, but it's worth it. The place is also very classy, though I can't wait to see it again with live music!

Went to Grand Shanghai today for lunch to celebrate my birthday with my old folks after reading about the five star reviews online.

To be honest, all the dishes were on point and I would have given 5 stars. Service could improve. Waiting time was a bit long too. Overall good food.

A well furnished restaurant with close but plenty of seating. Can not comment about the pricing as I was there for a reception. The food was in highest quality and it's a quite memorable dining experience, which ran for eight courses. The staff is very pleasant and the service was quite quick. Highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic Chinese dining experience.

It was a surprise to me when I step into the restaurent, first of all is the strong red colour theme, second is the central stage with older day Shanghai scene. It was an unique experience to dine here.
The food is good but the price is a bit high, if you consider the live performance as part of the cost then it is ok. There are dishes that feature Shanghai culinary.
The waitress were courteous and gave good recommendation.

I don't think the ambience, service and food is worth the price. I went there for a CNY REUNION lunch.

Stepping into the restaurant was a little like stepping back into a different era. Plush red high backed cushioned cubicles surrounded the place, the central dining area was filled with circular tables that were on stepped parquet platforms so that the diners could see the stage in front clearly.

Food was good and in generous servings. Those deserving particular mention were the 凉拌海蜇头 a cold dish of fresh jelly fish with vinegar; a dish of crunchy chewy caramelised fried strips of fish/eel skin; thick savoury soup; prawns with tea leaves; bamboo shoots.

The dim sum here was outstanding! Having lived in HK for 2.5 years, I became accustomed to good authentic dim sum...and here I was constantly surprised by their quality!
