  Tried to call the office today 5times and no one answered. Made my way here and the service was half hearted.

  The interest rate of ordinary account is too low. At 2 5%, it is much lower than Malaysia's EPF rate of about 6%. Also, having spent most of the money on HDB flat, there is hardly any left for retirement. No wonder more and more elderlies are working into their twilight years clearing tables at hawker centres.
