We have (parents and 2 year old son) booked the apartment Nr. 4 for 8 nights. When we arrived at the port, we got picked up via a shuttle to get informed that the owner is overbooked and we had to stay for 1 night in another place. It seemed to be normal for the owner and therefore we have not received any proper apology for this incovinience. The next day we finally checked in and received still a different apartment (owner was lying and tried to convince that it is the right one - we booked an apartment with 1 king and 1 queen size bed - received 1 king size and 1 baby bed) However, as we are easy customers we didn't want to discuss and we have ignored the wrong start. However you will spend 80% of your time at the beach.
At the end of the stay I gave the owner some constructive feedback, as the value for price paid was not given (second time on the island).
When telling the owner that the apartment should get maintained at certain points, she said that it is normal for the Seychelles standard.
Here a short overview + & - :
+ good located (quiet but not out of the sight)
+ apartments with a own kitchen (if you need it)
+ good size (about 45 m2)
- the pictures of the outside are not equal with the reality (just shows the nice side of the garden - construction work)
- not 100‰ clean
- kitchen and bed side tables are infected by wood worms
- air-condition is not working proper
- no hot water for 3 days
- no wifi in the apartments
- lights were broken (apparently not fixable)
- sockets are not all working
- behind the bathroom fitting was electricity, as I got slight electrified when touching the fitting.
- for us not a good host
- at the end we even got charged for the transfer from the port
