So pretty. Upscale for sure! They really took care of us. Bumpy ride and kiddo got sea sick... They brought dinner to the room for us and celebrated a birthday with deserts and champers. Had the beautiful villa all decorated with petals and such. Gorgeous villa. Fun bikes to borrow to get around. Very nice pool. Great food and decent vatiety. Staff was super kind! Highly reccomend. But this is the only place on the island. Nothing else to see or do nowhere to shop or entertain except the resort. You can hike.... But it is a true hike.

Absolutely fantastic service. Best of any hotel I had visited. Only spent two nights here and wish we had more time. The ferry isn't included in the price of the hotel so keep that in mind but it is definitely worth the trip. We did a boat excursion to visit the tortoises and had a great time. Special thanks to Mariana (spelling?) And Rajeesh for exemplary service during our stay.

Wonderful resort with the best staff. Marina in guest services was incredible and made our stay special. The food was excellent and the room we had extremely comfortable. The island itself was idyllic.

Very Very welcoming staff. Nice restaurants and bars. The Spa is by far the nicest area of this hotel. It is built right into the rocks next to the PS. I recommend to do the three different hikes (depends on the weather) and the sunset cruise!

One of the most beautiful stays I’ve ever had! The attentiveness of the staff was incredible from getting off the boat to check-in to check-out. The King Beachfront Villa with Plunge Pool was perfect! Spacious with a stunning turquoise Indian Ocean view literally meters from our private patio.

Room - king bed was divine, so comfortable.
Staff - super attentive, very friendly and always helpful.
Food - buffet style breakfast was delicious and the restaurants for lunch and dinner were impeccable.
Hikes - three different jungle hikes (however they are quite intense and you need to book ahead).
Activities - large pool, tennis, table tennis, giant chess/jenga, cycling, centre for kids.
Spa - centred amongst giant boulders and in the mountain side, absolutely beautiful.
Price - on the expensive side but definitely worth every dollar (you’re on a private island, so...).

The hospitality starts when you start booking your stay at the resort. Then a welcome at their jetty and a big warm welcome when you reach the island. Highly recommended. Staff are super nice and will do anything to help you and enjoy your stay. Weather is amazing with some rain at times.

The Spa is located most beautifully. The typical granite rocks have been integrated wherever it was possible and the treatment villas are each surrounded by the jungle. There is a very relaxing rest area with tea and water. The main facilities that can be visited by anyone free of charge are the jacuzzi, a (very steamy) steam bath, a sauna, a cold pool and the relaxation room. Guests are provided with a bathrobe, a towel and if you are getting a massage you have to put on very strange see-through disposable underwear. All employees there are extremely welcoming and friendly and the price of the treatments is very fair, all things considered.

Paradise, a true 5 star location. The staff are second to none and food in any of the restaurants is simply delicious. I would definitely recommend the full board. It is not the cheapest place, but it is definitely well worth the money.

Amazing holidays here. Everything is great, the island is for you only. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Food is expensive and the only option are the restaurants of the hotel, but everything is extremely good. Highly recommended.

We have just returned from a 9 day stay at this fine beach retreat resort. In short, it is a fabulous hideaway, where chic luxury mixes with its laid back isolated location. As many have referred to, arguably the hotel's first asset is its staff. At every level, the staff are friendly, helpful and interesting to talk to.

Many contributers here have suggested that the food is limited and of poor quality. We couldn't disagree more. With 7 different options for eating, you'd have to try hard to sample it all. Breakfast in Cafe Dauban offers a wide ranging buffet, where you can have a glass of bubbles to go with your scrambled eggs for an extra touch of luxury.

The rooms are wonderfully appointed, with everything you would want. A fridge is avaliable if you have brought a few bottles of wine with you - great to minimise the inevitable bar bill at the end of your stay! Beds are wonderful and comfortable, and the bathrooms are fantastic, with great showers - both inside and outside. One of the three different walks is highly recommended, as it's the only opportunity to see the interior of the island (although you will see the fruit bats around the hotel). Outside of the rainy season, I suspect all, except Grande Barbe, could be done independently. In rainy season, unless really confident, I would suggest it's best to go with a guide. We had high hopes for snorkeling here, and we were a little disappointed that we'd missed the Turtle season by a few weeks. However, there is a huge range of marine life just off the beach, where we saw sting rays, Eagle rays, reef sharks Angel Fish, Clown Fish and the ubiquitous Job Fish (delicious as Catch of the Day at Lo Brizan)

We will miss many many aspects of this hotel but, as I said previously, perhaps the single biggest factor are the staff. In particular our room attendant Ashuk who did a fine job every day, the Executive Chef, Josu, as he departs for a new exciting challenge setting up the new Hilton in Cape Verde, and Restaurant Manager John, who simply excels in his new role.

Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay.

Amazing villas next to the white sand beach. You can visit the silhouette island with a guide. Excellent place to rest. All included is recommend because there no available options in the island apart of the hilton restaurants.
