After organizing the parking the place is wonderful to shop in
Nice and local stuff.
Great shops and amazing finds 👏🏾
I love this local market.. it has everything 🙌🏻🙌🏻 must visit
No variety, no new designs, all gold shops have old stock. Gold lovers should not waste their time to visit such bore & old fashion place.
This popular market contains a lot of shops that sell gold, silver, perfumes, incense, abayat (cloaks but with long sleeves), mattresses, sheets, pillows and pillow covers, toiletries, make up, and much more. I think this market is like Development Center in Riyadh but it is smaller. Actually, it is very suitable for tourists because it sells oriental stuff.
A very nice place for weekends... There are a variety of stalls selling a variety of items. From antiques to modern accessories... But food items are expensive... A 20 riyal item may cost 30....
Ah my happy place, lots to do and buy. I fix my jewelry there and always buy some home made traditional Saudi food from the aunties there. So yummy!
Huge market with different varieties of merchandise, ranging from traditional to modern.
You will find difficulty finding a parking spot.
Best time to visit is after 4 PM and on words.
They’ve go all sort of everything, in a very cheap price tho, however if you are a “ white foreigner “ or a western you will definitely get charged 3 times more than the actual price so just keep that in mind when you bargain and be confident, that’s based on a personal experience.
One of the best places where you can find cheap abayas, but u have to bargain for it 😊
Nice place to shop. Lots of outside of the table sellers.
Its a must see place....many stores....from diamonds to very cheap products.... early evenings is best time to go there
Taiba market is wonderful! It's a break from being in malls. It has an old fashioned, relaxed feeling.
Huge markets for ladies Abyas, Kids clothing, jewelry etc , located few hundred feet away from Kim ng Fahad road. The shops have good variety and rates are reasonable. One has to do bargain to get good pricing. Market has ladies too as shop keeper.
Old fashion market with very reasonable and cheap prices, basically the gold market is what you need.
You can find alot of good stuff in it but it's too big and there is to many shops that are selling the same things!!
It's good if you have time but if you are in a hurry it would be hard.
Not bad for traditional clothes, gold market and furniture shops...
As well the shops for baby toys and some sweetshop...
The problem is no parking and always traffic jam...
A lot of construction around...
But it's still one of the Best choices for traditional and local things...
During the weekend is full...
I prefer the visit during the weekdays...
From 4 afternoon to 10:30 in the night...
Wish you a nice shopping...
Toys... Textile... Clothes.... Shoes...flower girl dresses... Makeup... Purses... Bookstore... . Home cooked meals and saudi coffee... Best place..... All things in one place
This is the main place in Riyadh to buy everything gold. There are many different stores here selling gold. Just be aware that all stores do not post any prices so you have to know how much you are willing to pay and negotiate to the end. Most stores accept credit cards which is a good thing so no need to carry cash. Main issue is that many stores do not have any English speaking associates so it is very hard to communicate with store clerks. Pricing for Italian gold necklace and other items of main interest to me were much higher than here in USA so just be aware. Pricing for Arabic (Saudi) and Indian gold items were very reasonable. Price includes cost of gold per gram for any given day plus cost to make this particular style. Selections were good overall except Italian gold designs. I could only find 2-3 stores out of more than 50 selling Italian gold items and pricing was quite high. In addition to golden market there is adjacent women's market (with perfume, abaya's and other female items) and children and home good stands stores (selling rugs). There were number of vendors selling mostly gift shop items and food on the street outside of market itself and this is where you need cash. Overall a nice place if you are willing to invest couple of hours and haggle over the price. Last thing - be aware of special prayer times when all stores get closed for about 20-30 minutes to allow for prayer. This happened to me as I was in the middle of negotiating with store clerk when entire store got closed and all buyers including me had to wait outside for store to reopen. So plan your trip accordingly.
Nice market mostly Arabic speaking people this market is good specially on Friday exclusive for babies and ladies shops are there like makeup cloth accessories baby product. Arabic street food also available here u can enjoy if u know something about Arabic culture perfect place for family Shoping. lot of space for parking.two way entry from Fahad road and olaya. Bring your time because it's very big market..thank you
A very good place if you want to find items at reasonable price. There are bookshops that sell all kind of project materials. Its a one stop shop for quality abayas. You can also get gold, silver and diamond jewelry at competitive rates. On the whole you can find almost anything from clothes to food in tayaba market. Worth a visit. But parking is very difficult to find here. Thats the only drawback.
Lively market with lots of essentials. Homemade food. Incense and burners. Farwas. Traditional Jewellery etc. A must see for visitors.
Traditional market with a wide range of options. The gold and diamonds market is very good and the prices are competitive. You can find traditional clothing, perfumes, beauty products, herbs, toys, and local food. A very good shopping experience.
Still lot of people come to shop here.. they have good abhaya shop.. the gold markets rarely sales 22k gold. They have 21 karat
Open Air Arabic Bazaar (old fashion style). Just keep bargaining for a better price !
Old fashioned market. I won't go there again. Not worth it.
In mid north areas of Riyadh this is the right place to shop in for low cost wearings and cosmetics, and you can find a variety of materials you can not find in the malls.
It is famous of its gold shops and traditional customs.
Not enough wash rooms.
Nice place for ladies to shopping.
Lot of Abaya shops.
Spices. Abaya ... gold market jewellery decoration crockery etc you can find easily here with reasonable price
A place where items are available at economical prices. But need to take your time and shop wisely. Clothes, Abhayas, makeup items, toys, groceries, imitation as well as gold jewellery and many more. Just drop in to check out the range of items and prices..
It's a very good market for gold and accessories but it's very expensive you can find the same stuff in another markets with much cheaper prices
But overall it's a good shopping place
Taibah Market has one of the latest Arabian style Abayas. Lots of perfume and traditional items are also available. I liked this place!
Taibah is the go to market when it comes to shopping for gold and fine jewellery.
Although there are many modern shopping centers in Riyadh, you will find that there is no match for the high consumer traffic at Taibah, and the number of shops and variety of fine Jewellery and jewellery experts.
Don't expect a fancy market if you go there. It's old fashioned, but worth going to and discovering.
