  Yesterday I went to this zoo and it was just awful! 😱😱 I have been there 5-6 years ago and hoped that during that time everything had changed, but no! Animals are in unacceptable unsanitary conditions! Many of them are sick - it shows! 😔Visitors behave really worse than animals - garbage and excrements are everywhere around, and no one cleans it for a long time! 😣 Visitors feed animal with chips, fast food, etc. It's horrible! I have not seen such a nightmare for a long time! In my opinion this is a crime and the owners should have been punished long time ago for animal abuse. I have tears in my eyes! 😭😭 I am so sorry that this is happening in our time, in a “civilized” society, in one of the richest and progressive countries in the world!
  The horse in pictures rolls kids, but it is clearly sick and needs help! 😭 look, she is underfed. Just bones with skin! Oh my God! it's horrible 😱😱
  Another big shock for me was that there were a lot of people in the zoo and everyone was acting like it’s normal 😳 like everyone is blind and they do not see what I see! it’s so sad! 😒

  Nice small zoo. Kids can feed the ducks and other animals. Bring lattice with you for feeding or buy it inside

  The zoo is great for toddlers of age 4-9. The zoo management is great. Must visit with children.

  Poor animals are placed in a very unhygienic environment, dirt and flies all around them. No proper food and shelter for animals. Bad smelling Chicken is fed to animals. Animals are so hungry, they ate whatever visitors feed them. Management should keep the cages clean and provide good food. Otherwise animals might die of diseases.

  Since this is the only zoo in Eastern Province, you have no options but to visit it at least once. Entrance ticket is SR. 10 for anyone above 5 years. It has lion, hyenas, wolves, foxes, monkeys, porcupines, deers, wild cats, gazelles, and variety of birds including peacocks, turkeys, hen, ducks etc. The cages are extremely dirty from the public facing side. Some stupid people throw trash and other items to the animals resulting in piling in front of the cages. There is a canteen inside but the options are very limited to biscuits, chocolates, juices for kids. There is a mosque inside with a female section.

  Its a nice space with not much animals.. just have lions wholf hynas desr fox monkeys gorilla crocodile ducks n some other small birds

  Entrance fee is SR 10.00 for all above 5 years old, below 5 years old is free.
  
  Most of the cages are poorly maintained. Well being of the animals are not properly monitored.
  
  Best time to visit during hot season is early morning (they open at 7:00 AM everyday except Friday) or after sunset.

  Good for a visit with kids
  
  there is:
  Lion, Peacock, Crocodile, Deer, Horse, Wolf, Swan, Eagle,Ostrich and Porcupine and few more
  
  Entry fee is 10SAR above 5 years.
  
  Opens every day 07:30 to 20:30H.
  
  Its better if there are more sunshade or grow some trees its might help the animal too survive the extreme climate.

  Have good range of animals like lions wolf monkeys and many birds species. Only and biggest negative is cleanliness and facilities. It's built on an old area so smelly and unclean. However, if you really want to show animals to your kids in eastern region, that's the only place you have. Zoo closes before night.

  Good place to hangout with your family and friends. The kids will really enjoy this place.
  But do not expect much from this place. Exploring this place will take good 2 to 3 hours.
  Must watch this place. You can see many wild animals here. Parking structure is there. You can get the food also here.
  Best time to visit this place.

  Very poor maintenance. And sadly they cut all the big old trees inside the zoo which gave much shadow and peaceful atmosphere inside. Now it's all concrete and walls. Animals live a terrible life. We get sad to see them. No greenery at all. Their only interest to collect the ticket fare. God bless the animals.

  OK for one visit. Didn't maintain the hygiene. Have lion, deer, and some birds. OK to take children for once. Ambient is dusty, bad smell around animal cabinets, parking issue. Difficult and danger parking zones. Since parking is limited, you will have to park by road beside zoo which is actually a very busy road. Be careful

  Pathetic condition in so called Zoo. Sad that we had to show so badly maintained zoo to our kids . Felt sad looking at the "Lion of the jungle". No maintenance and the animals looked unfed and drained Only few animals available. Caring for animals can be considered poor. Need huge improvement in terms of animal Care and overall presentation. Very poor maintenance, animals are in bad shape. Will never visit again. They should seriously think of shifting the animals to a better centre or a proper Zoo which has facilities to care of 10 sr for Pearson above 5 years, but there is not enough activity Not very well maintained.
