The food was obviously from the night before of more (leftover). Me and my wife got a food poisoning that we spent hours at the hospital. The beef has a strange smell that already made me feel uncomfortable at the beginning. I would recommend this place if you want to get a food poisoned and get super ill
Major renovation is much needed. very surprised that the hotel is still keeping the old furniture. The quality of the rooms do not reflect the name of the hotel.
Worst hotel you could ever stay in.
- The tv. Has been broken for couple days, I asked them to fix it a few times, but nothing happened. It’s not even HD
- the bathroom is very very very dirty with only one towel.
- you could call the reception a million times and they would never pick up. I had to go ask the next room to be quiet myself.
- the room feels like you have walked into an abandoned house, cracked walls, broken furniture, coffee bar with only a cup and a water boiler
- the first day I came in, they gave me a key to an occupied room, and when they gave me another key to another room, my view was the emergency staircase
- no butler to receive your baggage and take your to your room
- I have been trying to get a new slipper for days, still didn’t receive any
Don’t ever stay in this hotel, it’s not even cheap
Nice room and good breakfast. The staff is friendly- stayed two days and the room service wasn’t the best- they removed the dirty towels but did not replace them. Also requested a few items from the front desk like utensils 🥄 🍴 and they never brought them. The hotel is a little dated but still had a nice atmosphere. Could use some updates to decor.
Breakfast: Hot breakfast with decent limited menu.
Room: Two bedroom suite. Clean room with little little renovating needed.
Staff: Cleaning staff is good.
Location: center of the city
Con: Parking is limited on street and underground. Elevators are small to had to take multiple turns to take 10 suitcases down.
Nothing great about this place. However, decent place to stay for a couple of days. The staff here is courteous and helpful, thus it makes your stay comfortable. Breakfast is just abt average both in terms of spread and taste. Not many amenities are available here.
Calm place, I did relax after a long working day. Good price, nice breakfast and friendly staff
Good hotel to stay. House keeping good. Mid size gym. No swimming pool. Good breakfast. Dinner facility also available.
I went for dinner at this hotel which by the way doesn't represent the Hilton chain at all.
Please don't go their the food is so bad that you have no variety or quality.
They said it us Indian food I love Indian food but this was oily rice and chilli and one dish of chicken and one fish.
French fries was cold
Puratha was dry
The salad bar was a complete joke chopped cucumber carrot tomato and green pepper.
The desert was horrible.
The staff were not polite and no service at all I literally had to call the waiter to clear the table.
And when I tried to complain about it the answer I got was not to my satisfaction they said that the restaurant is offering a discount.
The bathrooms were not clean.
Please don't go their guys.
This time, My trip wasn't pleasant since the beginning. I've been an old loyal guest of the hotel, coming here for almost six years now, but the treatment was quite cold.
When i reached the hotel, no one was there to help with the luggage. Then upon reaching the reception, it was understaffed. Only obvs lady was there, who had to answer the calls as well as attend the guests. Obviously, i stood until she was free with the calls. Thankfully no guests were there to lengthen the waiting time. I was not at all greeted or made to feel like a silver n old guest.
Got a small room with a smaller wash room. Then worse, sink had a plumbing problem. Water was not draining properly n it was filling up with the same water. Gross
Agitated n irritated, i called for assistance, which took its sweet time to come. The guy from engineering played with it for a while but finally got successful, did to say, as Water was filling but not very fast.
I complained in the evening to the new staff, to which they promised to get me a proper room, but nothing happened. So much for the Hilton garden inn promise.
This is the day one story of my stay. Let's see what happens next
Not clean enough and the breakfast was bad!! Although the people there are pleasant and helpful
Thank you very much for your excellent service in your hotel. I enjoyed my 2 months holiday ( Feb. and Mar.) in your nice hotel again. Staff was very nice and friendly again. I enjoy also very good breakfast. I stayed your hotel 2 times already but service is more best every time. Still one times thank you very much for all staff and management of your hotel. I hope i will come back again soon Thanks again for the best service.
Clean, slow internet, don't count on your room getting supplied with fresh towels or bed made (it's 520pm and non done despite asking the front desk). Overall unreliable poor service but very nice people(seriously beyond belief nice-can't get mad at them) !
Not good. Had many issues with their service department. Didn't receive ordered things on proper time.
friendly people, road construction project in the area makes hard to get in or out. I expected better furniture but generally speaking it was ok. They gave me upgrade to a suite when they sensed my dissatisfaction without asking for it; a pleasant surprise!
Rooms are a bit cramped and could do with refurbishment, specially now that many new hotels have opened in the downtown area. Restaurant and Breakfast are the best features of the place.
Make sure you get a room on the backside of the hotel, rooms facing Olaya suffer from street noise
Good hotel, with acceptable facilities. Rooms are spacious but basic. Some equipment is not the best (slow lifts, temperamental air-conditioning etc.). However, great staff and a cozy family atmosphere.
The beds are probably the best thing about the rooms; everything else is standard. Cleanliness is borderline acceptable. The complimentary buffet breakfast is good, but a la carte items are crazy expensive, as well as the buffet lunch and dinner per head. There is a decent mini-gym and outdoor garden/pool area, which is nice. Women can use the fitness facilities but not the pool (as far as my experience went). Overall, I would stay there again, but only at promotional room prices; regular rates are just not worth it.
Surprised to see great services. Corporate events.
LCC Techmahindra Event with Manish
Good place for stay some days
Rooms are clean
Service and staff is also good
Comfortable beds
1. This hotel is finedefinitely not 4 Stars--at allbarely a 3-Star charging 4-Star prices.
2. This hotel is known for it's Complimentary Breakfast which is actually good--but compared to what?they don't really know how to make an omelette (in my opinion) as it ends up always looking and tasting just like an medium cooked scrambled egg with little cheese (I've asked for extra cheese because it lacks so much, but no)..I've been here almost three weeks now, and I'd really like a decent omelette, so yes the breakfast buffet is complimentary
3. The prices for dine-in or room service food is EXHORBITANTLY PRICEDno joke and the food quality while alright DOESN'T COME CLOSE TO THE RITZ-CARLTON QUALITY for instance a steak (with nothing complimentary with it) is 175 SAR = $47 and each side dish (i.e. potatoes, vegetables or salad) is 20 SAR = $5.33 each desserts and drinks are all > 40 SAR = $11 each so a dinner by yourself easily runs well above 250 SAR = $67NOW COMPARE THAT TO RITZ CARLTON 5-STARfor 180 SAR, all you can eat buffet with 100s of Main Courses, Soups, Desserts, Salads to choose from.. EVERYTHING INCLUDEDhmmm.
4. The hotel itself is about to be renovated (said the GM) and I would say so, since each of the several stairwells are continuously ignored for maintenance (lights out, walls unpainted, floors not cleaned, some stairwell areas seem to be spots for the staff to eat or something as I've seen plates in these areas as well)
5. The hotel desires to be a 4 or 5-Star hotel, but as I've always said, "if a customer must tell a manager what is wrong, then the hotel is NOT even a 4-Star hotel" Pretty simple math in my head
6. Lastly, THE TAXIS OUTSIDE THE HOTEL ARE CROOKS AND CAN NOT BE TRUSTED EXCEPT TO NOT FOLLOW SAUDI LAW. THESE TAXIS DO NOT USE THEIR METER AND WILL ALWAYS TRY TO EXTORT MORE MONEY THAN IS ACCEPTABLE, ATTEMPTING TO MAKE DEALS IF YOU BECOME A REGULAR CUSTOMERTHIS IS UNACCEPTABLEUSE UBER INSTEAD
6. a) Odd problems: the Message Light on the phones continuously blink throughout the hotel. When I arrived I noticed the Message Light blinking on my room phone. I thought, maybe my boss already left me a message or a previous guest had a message. I call the Front Desk, "The Message Light is blinking. Do I have a message?" "No, Sir, you don't have a message" "Well, why is the light blinking?" "Well, Sir, we can't turn them off." "Ummm, okay, that's strange. I don't link Message Lights blinking, how will I ever know if someone's left me a message?"leave it at that b) some elevator buttons don't work c) I asked the hotel to be billed every two weeks of my long stay and for the bill to be sent to my email and to my company's emailhe said he'd have to send it from his personal email and this seemed to be an issue to another staff member as I insisted on waiting for him to do thisIs this part of the Hilton or the Twilight Zone?
7. Persistent lack of management throughout hotel: workout room both wall clocks - no batteries, don't work, one of two weight scales doesn't work; complimentary Arabian Coffee consistently offered, but urn empty; hotel staff cleaning stuff (i.e. vacuum cleaners, tools, maintenance equipment) found throughout the hotel, in stairwells, hallways, etc.; unmarked doorways in stairwells
CONCLUSION, VALUE FOR THE MONEY IS NOT THERE. COMPLETELY OVERRATED HOTEL LACKING ACTIVE MANAGEMENT. I've had to mention to the management that the rooms and stairways are not as clean as they should be, and that the managers should actually "make their rounds" as this should NEVER be what a customer seesbut the same problems exist week after weekthis is a lack of management. There are far too many routine things wrong with day to day operations for this hotel to even be a 3-Star (which was my original selection)I haven't moved because it is "doable" and I'm still actually wondering if this Review site is even monitored LIKE A TRUE 4/5 STAR HOTEL WOULD MONITOR A REVIEW
Very good business hotel with all necessary amenities for that type of stay also has a pool, two gyms, and spa. It's also very conveniently located next to the IT shops that have super discounts on all tech stuff
