About

Stansile.org is an R&D start-up that is supporting global health institutions in Africa, to build & manage R&D collaborations to bridge equity gaps (i.e. 10/90 gap). Our projects focus on 2 main overarching goals: (1) contextualized value addition and repurposing of commonly used products and services for more increased social value and (2) Adapting complex novel technologies to the local context for simplified solutions. Through our co-development and Site Management Organization (SMO) operating model, Stansile has built a strong portfolio in Clinical Trials (CTs), training in clinical research and design of natural products extraction, with experience initiating collaborations in Rwanda and the greater East African Region through the North-South and South-South approaches. Our work focuses mainly on the most neglected areas of global health such as diagnostics, and infections such as malaria, hepatitis and COVID-19. We have been working on the design and prototyping of novel natural products through global and regional collaborations. We keenly pay more attention to investigator-initiated clinical research. Our offerings in this area span from needs assessment, turning the needs into research questions, funding opportunities scanning and acquisition, products prototyping and scale-up.
