  Hồ Kivu
  Là một trong những hồ lớn ở châu Phi, Kivu chảy dọc theo biên giới Cộng hòa dân chủ Congo và Rwanda. Hồ nổi tiếng với những vụ nổ limnic làm phun trào CO2 và khí metan giết chết tất cả sinh vật ở quanh đó.
  Tuy vậy, khung cảnh quanh hồ lại vô cùng mơ màng, có nhiều làng mạc sinh sống ven hồ cùng rất nhiều khách sạn, các khu vườn nhiệt đới và bãi biển đẹp mắt.
