  Great view of the city if you choose to go up to the collonade, though it does get quite crowded up top. 260 steps up is not bad, though would not recommend it if you get winded easily.

  Fantastic interiors. I was left speechless. Prevalent color inside is gold. You'll be fascinated by the art.
  
  If you pay extra or you buy it separately, you'll have the chance to go upstairs to the viewing 360° terrace. It's fantastic and you can view all the main landmarks the city has to offer. Just fantastic!
  
  Price? CHEAP.
  
  Location? At the center of Saint Petersburg.
  
  Conclusion:
  
  Go, don't look back.

  Great views from the colonnade. 262 steps to reach it. Stairs are low and staircase quite wide. (No lift)
  It is so grand Inside the cathedral. Stunning interiors, absolutely beautiful place. Jaw dropping.
  No toilets inside (across the road for small change)

  Amazing! The price to go up to the top is super worth it! Spectacular views of the city all around! The stairs seem like a lot but it's not that bad. I made it to the top with a baby strapped to me and it was actually pretty easy. This place is definitely worth spending some time at. I haven't been to the museum, but it's not that much more than going to the top and it looked pretty cool inside. The architecture is stunning.

  Nice architecture and really stands out against the other pale yellow, blue, pink and green palaces that all look the same. It's a very imposing building and draws in a lot of tourists. It's in a central location and makes a good reference point to return to when touring the city.

  The state ex-church of imperor's family. The marathon construction story. The mystic and ironic folklore about the building. The nazi blockade survivor and salvaitor. One of the best views on the city from the top floor. The only state museum that needs no state sponsorship because of enormous tourist traffic. The typical modern victim of joint-stock company "Russian Orthodox Church".
  Hurry up to visit this unique place before the popes will eat it alive.

  Buy a ticket to the tower. The stairway is ca 200 steps. From the tower of St Isaac's Cathedral you will have a great view over the city.
