Very close to airport and shuttle service efficient. Rooms perfect for night and flight. Maybe the breakfast is weaker than other services.
The hotel is close to airport, terminal and hotel is connected by a free shuttle van. The facilities are so new. The hotel is a good choice in general, nevertheless in my case the tv did not run and the room was located next to the fan wich was all nigh doing noise.
Overall good. Just remember that if you are coming from the airport you need to call for a shuttle, no one is going to be waiting for you at the terminal.
Good hotel for one night. It's close to the airport. And offers free shuttle service there and back. In the bathroom the shower was broken and it was very clumsy to use. By the look of it it was broken for some time. The food was good. For an international hotel the English of the staff was not good.
Everything as expected from Ramada. Some minor disadvantage like electronic key problem and small shower covered with reasonable price and complimentary airport shuttle (goes every 30 min).
My boyfriend and I booked one night at the Ramada Moscow Domodedovo hotel. We arranged for a bus pick up from the airport over the phone one week prior - the receptionist spoke English and was very helpful.
When we arrived to meet the bus, it was not there. We waited in the cold, calling Ramada several times and were told '2 more minutes' each time.
The hotel room itself had only been prepared for one guest - one bathrobe, one bottle of water, one pair of slippers, etc. - though there were two of us staying in the room.
The deadbolt on the door was broken.
The wifi barely worked.
The shower head wall attachment was broken and made showering very uncomfortable, as we had to crouch down to get under the running water. For my boyfriend, who is 6'4, this was very inconvenient and frustrating.
There were two comforters on the bed. One of the comforters was too short for my boyfriend to be fully covered, fortunately the other one was bigger, so I used the smaller one.
The bed itself was quite comfortable; the room was quiet and dark with the curtains closed.
The toilet paper felt like cardboard.
We feel that the cost - 99$USD - is exorbitant, especially considering the quality of the room and services. We will never again stay at a Ramada hotel.
Poor atmosphere
A good comfy overnight stay between two flights. Free shuttle from and to the airport. No tee/coffee facilities in the room.
Glad that we only stayed one night. This place is close to the airport, which is convenient if you get to use their shuttle (a lot of the taxis would not go a short distance, it takes a little while to find one for a reasonable price). The service was deplorable. We booked the hotel about 2 months ahead of our stay and reserved a shuttle to pick us up at 21:30 at the airport. We received a confirmation email from the hotel with a specified location where to meet the driver. Upon arrival we waited for an hour, there was no one. So we ended up paying 1,000 rubles for a taxi to take us 5 min away. When we arrived and tried to find out why this happened and to receive any sort of explanation from the hotel, Ekaterina (at the front desk) blamed us for it. She said we were "idiots for not finding the shuttle and taking a taxi instead" (this was said in Russian and with her believing that none of us would understand). When we asked to call over her manager, Sergey arrived, and they both started to curse amongst themselves. They kept asking if we made a reservation on one hand, on the other they kept saying that the shuttles come every half hour. Only after showing them the confirmation email with the directions, did they finally admit that they made the mistake and communicated a wrong location to us. They were unwilling to compensate us for the taxi, but offered a slightly bigger room. This kind of service is unacceptable even by Russian standards, after all, they are the face of not only their hotel, but also their country to many international guests who might only have a similar limited time to experience Moscow.
Shuttle after 1 PM is 700 Rubles (~$20.00). There are buses No 26 and 30 going from the airport to the Aviatsionnyi town (just 30 rubles). One can walk to and from the bus stop. Bus No 404 will get you from Metro Domodedovskaya to the bus stop (70 rubles and a 7-minute walk to Ramada Hotel)
