Lovely hotel in a central position. Comfortable room and quiet even though this is a busy hotel. Good selection for breakfast and right opposite a craft beer bar! Gorgeous staircase.

This hotel is able to charge premium prices because of the location, which is absolutely fantastic. However, by no means is the executive room to the standard one would expect in 4 or 5 star hotels. The room fixtures, colour and furnishing reminds you of an 70s style hotel and is quite dimly lit. The toiletries look cheap in the unappealing packaging. They did upgrade the faucets though (Grohe). One big downfall is that the curtains don't fully shut out light; it creeps in from the sides which is a lot of light in the summer months! For a city where the sun doesn't really set in the summer months, this is something they should have thought about. Lastly, they only have 2 lifts and they run very very slow.

Perfect location, right between Nevsky Prospekt and St. Isaac's Cathedral. 3 minute walk to each. About 5-10 minutes from the Winter Palace/Hermitage. Super helpful and friendly staff, nice, clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms. Great breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and located right next to many other great places to eat. Would definitely recommend this place!

I had a great stay in this hotel. The service is good and always willing to help. They have a wellness and fitness area which I used and recommend.

Everyone and everything was top notch. The staff for concierge were extremely helpful. The front desk staff were genuinely respectful and caring for any of our needs. Room was spotless - amenities perfect. Location excellent. No hesitation to recommend this hotel for a perfect stay.

Too small room although characterized as superior double. Extremly noisy even in the back yard because of the garbage truck. It was next to the elevator which made things even worse. Really disappointed given the fact that we paid for a 4* star rate. This hotel is not even close to a 3* hotel. Reception and concierge are like school students paying no attention to clients, very poor service and quite snobbish. The only good think is the comfortable location.

On a recent stay at the Petro Palace Hotel I had the misfortune of having
a thief take my purse while I was out shopping. When I returned to the hotel I was extremely distressed and needed to place numerous phone calls to remedy the situation. I was in the lobby of the hotel crying because of my situation. An employee of the hotel (I was told his name was Alexander) was leaving his day shift. When he saw me crying he came over to help me with the calls. He stayed with me for more than 45 minutes
It was an unusual kindness and a rare attitude for an employee. I hope he is valued by the hotel.response / report this review -

Great Hotel, room very clean and breakfast selection is great. hotel very clean and staff very friendly. good location since it is in the centre of st pieterburg. shops all around and all attractions as well. there is a gym here, with sauna and swimming pool and jacuzi. there is also a nice bar in the hotel.
