Храм хоть и формально относится к музею, но атмосфера совсем не музейная, при этом в храме находится самая ранняя и одна из самых чтимых чудотворных икон Русской церкви - Влади́мирская ико́на Бо́жией Ма́тери

Not only is this a beautiful church, but it also contains some beautiful ancient icons. Amazing examples of ancient Rus' religious (for the lack of any other) art.

Храм Святителя Никодая а Толмачах знаменит тем,что там молился сам основатель художественной галереи Третьяков!!А сам Храм прекрвсен и снаружи и внутри,а главное он действующий,совершается Божественная Литургия!
