Great value for the money, there is a huge variety of food for breakfast, and the transport from the hotel to the city center is easily accessible

Very big hotel. Has ok-ish rooms for a 4 star hotel. There are many shops in the same building and a metro station near the hotel.

This hotel is in dire need of some improvements. The location is decent, and with the shopping centre right next door, all your essentials are close by. However, some things still bothered me during my weekend at the hotel. The internet is quite slow (granted this is a hotel, so I didn’t even have high expectaions, yet I was still let down), the breakfast was unappealing, and my room had a very unpleasant smell. Atleast the staff tried their best to make the best of the situation.

The only good thing going for this hotel is it's location. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend it, and don't let that four-star rating fool you - it's a joke.
We were given a room with a "large" bed. Instead we were surprised by a tiny little room with two single beds that were pushed together. The room was so small that there was only enough room surrounding the bed to walk around - there wasn't space to even open our suitcases!
And forget about amenities like table, chairs or a desk - all we had was a set of shelves and a tiny stand, that were put together from metal profiles and glass. There was no mirror in the room, not even a trash bin. The power outlets were situated in the most bizarre places. My wife's morning routine was a struggle, considering where the mirror and outlets were.
The bathroom was awful - there was a predominant smell of damp rag. It had no ventilation, and all the steam was either left lingering in there or let out into the room. We were not supplied with any cosmetics - no body lotions, shower gel or shampoo, or even soap. There was only a soap dispenser on the wall. When I called and asked for shampoo and shower gel, I was scolded to use the soap dispenser! I told them I'm not going to wash my body and hair with that and was soon given packets of the proper stuff, but again reprimanded and reminded that everyone gets to use only the soap dispensers. The sink and it's surrounding area was completely inadequate for a hotel room - there was not enough space to put all our stuff. The bathtub and shower was also devoid of useful spaces like soap holders or shelves where we could put something. The towels were hanged right above the toilet bowl - not a good place to hang anything in my opinion.
The AC was blasting cold air even thou the outside temperature was 14C. The thermostat was not accepting any correction and it kept turning on full blast just minutes after we switched it off.
And the view OMG! We were among the unlucky ones and our room was on the back side of the building. The view consisted of a roof full of industrial sized air conditioners and the windows of 3 other buildings that were just meters away - we felt like we were on display every time we turned on a light. In all fairness, the rooms located on the front side of the hotel looked decent enough - they were bigger and had e great view. If you ought to stay there, make sure you get such room (I believe you could still push the beds together if needs be).response / report this review -

Huge hotel, exterior is great, interiors are old. Many rooms are very far from the lifts, its a long walk. Food is good. The departmental store underground and metro station nearby are the best things about this hotel. Worth for 2-3 days.

Awesome hotel. Right on Nevsky prospect. Great service and clean rooms with everything you would need from the hotel room. If you don't have something, just ask the concierge and they would gladly help you. Good breakfast. Would definitely come back.

A very basic business hotel and completely non courteous staff. Has over 700 rooms but offers nothing in terms of recreation.no gym, no spa, no pool, no room service. For every service, you need to pay at point of service and not while checking out. Really a moderate experience.

Nice and utility rooms with everything you need. Breakfast aren't as good as in other hotels but wasn't the worst I've experienced. Metro station is next to the hotel.
