A friendly reception and free wifi (very slow) but the good points stop there. An exorbitant and completely unrealistic €36 a night for two adults, two children and a motorhome. Buildings were rundown and dilapidated, sanitation was functioning but uninviting, road and train noice all night, dangerous electrics..... unless it's late at night and you are desperate avoid at all costs. It does have power (if somewhat scary), water, grey water disposal and chemical toilet disposal.
Pulled into this camp site, it was completely empty and there were no staff. After some time a friendly guy arrived and called the owner for us. After some more time he arrived, was rude and wanted to charge approx twice the going rate of most average campsites. The place is old and run down, can not comment on amenities as we did not stay and most definitely will not return.
We use this camping for a stay on our trip back to germany. It is situated in a forest at the street, but it is not so loud. The hosts are polite. The sanitary facilities are clean. The wifi works only at the reception. For romanian conditions the camp is very expensive. But the city Timisoara is very nice and and can be reached by bus.
Great for an escape, but there is not so much things you can do.
Staff not friendly and campsite too expensive
This campsite is at the entrance to the town, large site set back off the main road. Amenities are old but perfectly useable and there is everything you need. It's a thirty minute walk to the castle but there are plenty of shops and facilities close by.
Too expensive for camping, and the conditions don't worth even half of the price. Great location although, close to the city center.
