    Today i have taken my second dose. Spent only 20 minutes. Better to go after 4. pm. Not much crowded. If anyone hasnt received appointment go and register in their log book. As they said they will give you appointment within 5 days. No hassle at all. Good luck.

    The one of the worst health centre under PHCC. My health card was expired on February 27 and I renewed 10 days before expiry through online, still that is not updated in the health centre system. When I called 107 they are helpless they can’t do anything with this and I tried 18000 they said health card is renewed. I missed my 3 appointment with doctor because of this . I cannot go to private clinic because last one year i am under the treatment of phcc doctor. No response from health centre too

    The government provided the best facilities and a beautiful building with a elegant interior design.

    But behavior and attitude of the non medical staffs are horrible, especially the reception. most of them are behaving like we are came to their home for requesting some help, unnecessarily shouting ( even before COVID ) and not giving any proper information.
    After reception next is a lady sitting inside health card renewal, last time when we are almost 15 people in the queue including Qatari ladies and gentlemen for renewal and new application of health card. Almost 45 minutes we are in the queue and nobody is moving a single step. This lady is doing some inside work without giving any reply to us after 45 minutes somebody came and ask renewal is from tomorrow only, they are not giving any respect to others time, I saw a Hamad hospital doctor also in the waiting.
    The only best thing is the medical staffs and pharmacists. Doctor and nurses are very good with the patients

    This was my first time at this health centre and what an absolutely disgusting experience it was! By far the single worst administrative experience in dealing with a public institution.

    After being forced to go to Al Thumama Health Centre to apply for a health card, a group of us were forced to stand in a line just to try and get inside the building for hours (we did not even make it through the doors mind you!). Apparently, they can only take 80 people a day for health card applications. 80!!! EIGHTY!!!

    1) There was NO signage indicating this to visitors and applicants AT ALL!

    2) And there was NOBODY at the door to make us aware of this or inform us that we had missed the 80 person limit! Instead they continued to let us stand out there when they could clearly see us waiting through the GLASS DOORS and did not once think to keep us informed.

    3) We were only made aware of this when we asked a security guard at another entrance where he and his colleague rudely told us that we could not use that entrance for health card applications and would not be attended to that day. And that we had to come back again tomorrow.
    When we made them aware that the earliest in our group had already been there since around 05h00, one of the guards arrogantly told us to get there by 04h30 then. I was appalled at the rudeness of it all!

    How it makes any sense to only process 80 applications a day when it has become mandatory for everyone to now have a health card and everyone is seemingly being sent to the same single centre is absolutely beyond me!

    So unprofessional and so disrespectful.
    I pray that I never have to have any dealings with this location ever again!

    They have a great facility of drive through covid testing, however are not managing the service efficiently. There are roadworks outside the health centre and the traffic flow is affecting all need to be faster. The testers are working at an extremely slow pace as if they all are trainees fed up of testing the population. Now comes the unbelievable after you sued queued for 45 minutes sitting in your car you are given a receipt and told to go in and pay. There is only one cashier and a long long queue of 45 minutes!! This is obscene. One will need a health card and be registered to the clinic to use their service.

    Firstly its a smart health centre, newly built and plenty of basement parking.
    Unfortunately many patients and their drivers insist on parking outside the entrance and blocking other drivers.
    Reception staff need better training, very slow and need better computer skills. They need to be trained in how to greet the customer and to understand the urgency of dealing with customers quickly at all times and especially when there is a long queue. They need to be prompt and efficient, especially during this Covid era when they should be putting maximum effort into making sure patients are dealt with quickly to avoid unnecessary stay at the Centre.
    Staff should not be engaged in personal mobile calls whilst dealing with patients.
    Thankfully Doctors however are much better.

    It's our family health center, excellent health services, new facilities and infrastructure. The center is easily accessible and always kept clean. Doctors and nurses are always helpful and you can ask question or if anything don't understand. I still visit to the center for regular maternal clinics. Doctor advised about the food, vitamins and the things requires to take care, also prescribed for ultrasound scan and directed to the dietitian for a proper meal plan. So all these for almost free or a very decent price. We also rarely faced the rudeness of some reception staff but its negligible with other benefits we received.

    I recently went for an Ultrasound. Both the ladies were from Phillipines.I entered the cabinet,which was as cold as a fridge and asked to sit on the bed. The procedure started as usual, however for more than 20', while one of them was pressing so hard on my tummy, as if she wanted to enter the tummy, I had to ask if eveything is ok.
    Both ladies , spoke only in their mother tongue. I had to ask myself how is the baby? They never address a word, at least to say how is the heart beat, how is the amniotic fluid etc.
    On top of this, I had to address the Ultrasound 'Specialist' to be more gentle while pressing. For two days after this ultrasound, I had pain on my tummy and in the Pelvic Area.
    I would say this is the worst experience I had in a Ultrasound. I am currently 7m pregnant.
    Communication with the patient - Zero (0)
    Empathy with the patient - Zero (0)
    Good luck mommies and do not hesitate to complain if you are unhappy!

    Very clean & better service than some other health centers. Only some receptionists need to be more skilled on their job. Found Most of the staff members very cooperative. Basement parking is always available since the health center is not crowdy. But it is always recommended to have the appointment as prior as possible to avoid unavailability of first choice.

    Receptionist ladies are slow just to give 1 single appointment normally it takes less than 1 minute

    Everything is computerised just need to scan the barcode no need to fill all the details.

    Doctors and nurses are excellent.

    Thumama health center is one of the best health center in Doha, this newly opened clinic, The main building consists of 2 floors and a basement parking, that can use more than hundreds of small vehicles, the structure of the clinic is very beautiful, and the first floor is covered by a glass facade to the ground floor, and it provides a panoramic view.

    Need to change attitude of reception ladies..they all are roaming around..no one is sitting on their place..I had to wait for half an hour..they attended one person and went back to talk with their colleagues and again the desk was vacant and the coming person has to search them again..very careless
