Had fish cataplana there, best meal of our 2 weeks trip in Portugal. This restaurant has an upscale vibe and the food is really good. Staff is very professional and the wine selection is very large and of quality. Definitely recommend this place. Try to have a table in the central room. You have to book in advance to get a table.
Good food but it took almost 45min to get the main course. Staff was nice.
Very typical Alentejo cuisine, in a lovely place with good service - and all of this at a fair price. I'd recommend reservations specially in the busy season.
Absolutely amazing restaurant, food was superb, some of the best fish I have ever tasted. The service was outstanding, the waiter had some excellent recommendations and was very knowledgeable. Loved the charcoal oven and the open plan kitchen. Good idea to book in advance as it is popular
Traditional food made really well, a bit expensive but well worth it.
The wine list is impressive. You can't go wrong here.
Great atmosphere. Highly recommended for great local and traditional dishes.
The food is simply very good. Wine list is pretty impressive. A bit slow but friendly service. If you cant finnish the wine bottle, the house will refund what is left! Be prepare to feel icy A/C blowing to your neck 🤧.
Great spot to eat good, with some tipical stuff! Must go. Good selection Of wines
A bit overpriced compared with portugese standards, we asked for port with clams which was mediocre and octopus salad was a bit better but nothing extraordinary. Our expectations were much higher
Great venue with some amazing dishes on offer. Prices are a bit on the higher end.
There are some other amazing places around the area if this doesn't fit within your budget.
But a must try if you get a chance.
Go for the food and wine.
A truly great experience, even for children and vegetarians. The reception and service were most friendly and efficient, the grilled fish perfect, the mixed vegetarian dish my wife and daughter shared superb. The half portion grilled pork for our son was more like a full, the grilled pork tasty but a bit though, which however appears to be a local norm. The atmosphere is wonderfully lively with a mix of locals and tourists; you may watch the cooks, football on TV, or the artwork on the walls. I was truly surprised about the very reasonable bill after such a delightful meal.
