Delicious Mozambiquan cuisine with great outdoor atmosphere. Good service, fair prices and a unique experience. The dishes are like coconut milk based curries. Almost like a mix between Indian ans SE Asian, but something else wholely until it's own. If you're in Lisbon for a few days and want a break from straight Portuguese food this is worth visiting.

Quite disappointing despite the appearance of charm. The food is quite average (had the chicken breast with peanut sauce) and somewhat bland for being African inspired. But in particular, our waiter (not African by any means) was rather inattentive and unhelpful. We had asked for a table in the shade (can be very hot in Lisbon) which within ten minutes was in full sun (as the sun moved). When we asked to move, we were told all the other tables were reserved, which upon further observation as time went on was completely untrue. When you have too eat in an environment that is hotter than the food being served with the sun in your face, it is really unpleasant. Cannot possibly recommend this place unless it's a very cloudy day.

Great shrimp curry with coconut rice. Service is a little all over the place but rightfully so because they are packed every night. Loved it though.

Small, cozy and low key with very good and efficient wait staff. Some of the staff speak good English and are very happy to assist you with the menu.

The restaurant would be classed as basic by some people, but the food and experience are well worth it.

The menu is not comprehensive, however the food we received was of a very good standard. The prices are quite low considering the quality of the food. Wine and food for 2 people was less than €30.

Foods are delicious and prices are very reasonable. It seems a very popular small local restaurant, a lot of outdoor seatings plus live music. I would give four stars if they didn't put me in a very dark small table in corner, cannot even read the menu because it's just too dark. There are other better seating tables available during the whole time when I was eating there. I asked to sit there and was rejected by waitress who said it's for six people. It is not, it's just consisted three sets of very small table for two. Won't come back.

Very disappointing - picked this place as somewhere that looked great for my last meal out in Lisbon. Waited over 45 mins for my starter. When it came (I had the fried yucca) it was bland and quite dry. My main (the vegetarian dish) wasn't hot and was also bland - and far far too much rice given in relation to the curry itself. I was given a discount because of the issues I had, but I was still left with a pretty disappointing evening. Can't recommend.

Samosas were good - crispy shell. Stew was ok but not amazing. Bit overpriced relative to the quality. There are other good African restaurants just up the street.

Great food and great servers. The place is always very busy. We had a reservation and got seated right away.
We tried different dishes and they all were delicious! I really recommend the cashew mousse as dessert

Eating at this restaurant was a great experience. We thought that the best tables were outside, but it was inside where we discovered the real atmosphere, which was family-like. Add to it fantastic African food, generous portions and affordable prices. I will definitely repeat next time in Lisbon.

Obviously the success of this restaurant (recommended in some tourist guides and good ratings online) had a bad influence on the quality of the food. We live near Aziz since 2 years and therefore visited the place plenty of times. But unfortunately the food got worse every time we get there. Especially the meat. You can see and taste that everything is prepared in a hurry. Besides: They raised the prices significantly since the last year. Now almost all the dishes are around 13 Euro. Last year it was 1/3 less. For that amount of money you get really better food in Lisbon.
So: With increasing prices and worsening quality we decided after
our last visit (in April 2017) not to eat there anymore.

Just ok. I Knew I wanted to try when I saw the menu and that it was full of people. Ok - we didn't make a reservation so I find it normal that had to wait around 30 minutes to get the table. No problem, in the meantime funny tourist tried to still our table so we had a wait with attractions! The main waiter (that told us to wait for the table) was very professional, explaining how much we would have to wait etc. when we got the table another waiter took us over, I must say he didn't have a clue about the dishes and even if we ordered he came 15 minutes later asking if we ordered! Strange. The food was ok. I tried shrimps with banana and coconut milk. The banana was wired but in general it was tasty.

This restaurant is super popular when I went. In order to get a table a 4 without reservations we had to wait until 10:30 pm to get seated. This was my first time trying food from Mozambique and I really enjoyed it. Theres a dish that has a sauce made with coconut milk over rice that was really good!

Good food. Fish cooked nicely. Careful of the crab dish where they pre-crack the crab shell and the shell bits end up in the sauce. Had 2 different dishes that had very different but very good flavor plus a good bottle of wine for 10 Euros. At lunch, however, they didn't have all the appetizers they listed on the menu.

This place is amazing! The curry dishes are on point! It may be kind of difficult to find but I can guarantee you that it's totally worth it! You won't regret it.
