Absolutely stunning. We spent 3 hours here and wish it had been longer. The buildings, caves, well manicured grounds, and the introduction of Brazilian plants to this area are just gorgeous. Cafe was fine, exactly what we expected, but the views were unbeatable!

If you're into eclectic spots with a subterranean maze-like cavern system and you have a few hours to spare - this is a great spot. Fun to try to decipher all the artwork and stone crafts spread around the place. Keep an eye out for "foreign" gods and objects. :)

Oh, that subterranean tower truly is as amazing as it looks in the pictures.

The only thing I can say is WOW!
It is a very impressive castle and by itself is wonderful.
The gardens and all the caves you can walk and explore, you feel like in a movie, when you start going down and into secret passages.
Do go with time, since you can be there walking on the gardens for 3 hours and after you can see the main house that is also very nice and well kept.

The wonders built here could be imaginations out of fairy tails. Here you can find a wide variety of attractions from eye catching stone towers to an underground network of tunnels. There only downside I could find what the number of people everywhere. Quinta da Regaleira has most definitely earned it's place as a top attraction for the region.

Loved the place! This was my third visit and every time I discover more hidden places! I recommend to pay for the guided tour! Very very interesting! And the gardens are so pretty and wild.. I really recommend to visit this place that is pretty reachable even if you don't have a car and don't want to pay for the bus! Is 30 minutes of relaxed walk from the train station (direct trains from Lisbon!)

Incredible place. The gardens are the best attraction. Top part of the mansion are still under renovation, but the grounds are phenomenal. Be sure to get to the "well" and walk down the 6 story stairs inside of it then exit the tunnels.

Don't bother paying for a taxi or bus just walk here, takes about 20-25 minutes from the train station and is a beautiful walk. Entrance fee only 6 euros and worth every penny. Take your time and enjoy it, it's large and you could easily spend a few hours here. Worth it. Definitely recommend

Although this place isn't quite as authentic as it wants to come off as (it is all built in the 19th century), its actual history makes up for it, and it has rightfully been awarded UNESCO protected heritage status. This wonderful park with all kinds of fun features allows you to really lose yourself without ever actually getting lost. Although you get a map with the purchase of your very reasonably-priced ticket, you never actually need it unless you want to beeline to a specific spot or want to read about the feature you've just stumbled upon. This is a perfect place to spend a few hours, fun for nearly everyone!

It's astonishing beautyful, the mixture of themes and styles make this place a wonderland. The mansion itself is not that a big deal inside. The Initiation well or also called inverted tower is the real jewel.

Fantastic! The main building is absolutely masterpiece. The unique facade is exotic combinations. The landscape is taking advantage of geographic location to create some interesting attractions. Must see!

Stunningly beautiful gardens, lots of caves and castles to climb through. We spent three hours there. A fun place for explorers. It is interesting thinking about the man who walked those gardens before us.

Absolutely magical, you feel like in a place brought from another world. You can spend hours exploring secret tunnels and beautiful towers. Even though it's a bit outside of the town it's really worth the walk there. Don't miss it

The most beautiful gardens that I have been to. Would recommend for anyone to take a day trip from lisbon here. Only 40 moms on the train. The grottos were amazing and the gardens were very pretty even on a cloudy day. Rest of the town was lovely as well. Highly recommend
