Pedro Sottomayor was born in Porto, Portugal, in 1973.
Studied Industrial Design at Istituto Superiore per l'Industrie Artistiche in Florence, Italy, 1999, where had teachers as Paolo Deganello, Denis Santachiara, Biagio Cisoti, Isao Hosoe, Andries Van Onck, Gilberto Correti, and others.
Works as independent designer and as an industrial design consultant, founding in 2009 the office Pedro Sottomayor Design Industrial.
