Very nice for a walk by the river. If you are going direction of espiunca then it is easier and mostly going down
worth a trip. easy trekking for beginners with a beautifull landscape..
We started our walk from Areinho and ended at Espiunca. It was a great experience. The 400m of steps are easier to overcome by stopping as we need to drink, replenish the lungs, look around, take photos and proceed again to go further up to the top. The rest of the path is easier and a beautiful walk along the river. There are some spots with information. At 4 km from Areinho we found Vau, place with refreshing service, wc, information, pickup point and a beach by the river. Espiunca was 4 km away from Vau and the end of the path. There we found a lovely outdoor esplanade, picnic area, wc and taxi service.
Beautiful area to visit whether you're just into a walk or even if you want to make a bit of exercise and push yourself. It's not an easy course, I'd recommend you to start in Areinho.
Just wonderful. Bring enough water and expect a good workout, but you don't want to miss this! Oh, and get your tickets beforehand online, you can just show the tickets on your phone.
Magnífica ideia :) vista panorâmica de beleza natural com som do rio que acalma até a mente mais barulhenta.
A great 8km walk with amazing views in the middle of the nature. Don't forget your sport shoes and a big bottle of water!
Long but easy hike, with a magnificent scenic view from the wooden walkway.
A great hiking experience on a unique wooden walkway in the Northern Portugal parts, surrounded by beautiful nature. Definitely a highlight, make sure you don't miss it. However, unfortunately parts of it were destroyed in the severe bush fires during summer 17. I hope that they will rebuild it soon.
