We are an alternative school. We base our actions on the philosophy developed by the Italian doctor Dr. Maria Montessori. Montessori believed that the child has a natural learning potential and that true education should give children the freedom and the right conditions to explore this inner potential and to learn through the experience with the prepared environment.

We are a sister school to Vilnius Montessori School (www.vms.lt), in Lithuania that has been hosting children from 18 months to 6 years for over 7 years. We will open our doors for the first time in Portugal next year, in Lisbon area (Cascais).

We invite everyone to discover more about our method and to learn more about our school. Our installations are now being remodelled to receive children from September 2017. We will be open for visits and guided tours in July and August 2017.

Somos uma escola de educação alternativa. Temos como base educacional a filosofia desenvolvida pela médica italiana Dra. Maria Montessori há cerca de um século. De maneira geral, Montessori defendia que a criança tem um potencial de aprendizado interno que lhe é natural, e que a verdadeira educação deve dar-lhe liberdade e condições de explorar esse potencial interno para aprender através do contato com o ambiente preparado.

Somos uma escola irmã da Vilnius Montessori School (www.vms.lt), na Lituania que já atende crianças de 18 meses a 6 anos há mais de 7 anos. Abriremos nossas portas pela primeira vez em Portugal no próximo ano letivo, na área de Cascais.

Convidamos a todos a descobrir mais sobre nosso método e saber mais sobre nossa escola. Nossas instalações estão em fase de reforma para receber as crianças a partir de Setembro de 2017. Abriremos a escola para visitas a partir de Julho de 2017.
