It is a very unprofessional company. I choose it because it is very cheap, but when you go there they try persistently to add a lot of extra services. I know that this is normal but they try to make you in a mood that if you don't take complete insurance, cleaning and additional services, something terrible could happend. I haven't received the car I booked. The car was full of nicks and dents, many of them not registered. If you are not doing the full insurance, check very carefully, because I had the impression they look for an excuse to charge extra paiment. Finally, they also ask money for cleaning, but giving me the car not really clean at the start. Next time I prefer to spend few more money for a more professional company.
Quite horrible. Though the personnel is nice, they take 20mins per person to try and shake more money out of you (more expensive car, all sorts of insurance that you probably won't need etc.). They are totally fine with you declining all their offers, but it takes so much of your time. The waiting area doesn't have airconditioning (or at least it wasn't on when we were there August 30th) and because they don't have enough personnel it took us around 2,5 HOURS before we were on the road (because there were only 2 persons behind the desk and around 20 people waiting). I've also seen InterRent Lisboa and this place is a disgrace compared to that location. I don't know if it's from the same owner but InterRent Porto could REALLY use a renovation, everything is old and outdated.
I'm only giving 2 stars because the lady who helped us was nice to us and the car turned out fine, no problems whatsoever.
Friday Night, 2 persons for 10 customers, 2hours waiting and still counting! No process, no customer care, etc! Crazy knowing every piece of info are booked online at booking stage! I would strongly advise people to pay a few additional euro and avoid this brand.
ATTENTION TO THE LATE OR DELAYED FLIGHTS .... We arrived to Porto airport at 1:15am all the other rental desks were open but not interrent. We got a taxi paying 60€ one way and comeback on the morning around 10:30, I asked them why they didn't wait for us knowing that the flight was delayed they told me that they close at 1:00 and they don't belong to the airport area????? Starting the contract she told that breakdown cover wasn't included if we want to be safe we need to make an extra insurance for that so we paid and if we want to drive to Spain we still need to pay 50€ a rip off and more I always make the booking with my credit card on my husbands name never in 10 years I had a problem until that day with interrent I need to be on the contract paying more 60€ as a 2nd driver???? Another way they found to take your skin off.....I wounder if I didn't have a driving licence what they would suggest I felt scammed and Ripped off.....also the car was full of dents and not powerful enough
Wait 1h to get to the desk. Than wait 40m until a guy helps you. Totally random service, total choas here. The cars themselves are ok.

Good service. Helpful and pleasant. They try to give you an expensive car or other options that you need to pay. You just say no at it is all right. Useful.
Reasonable price with great service.
I was a bit concerned about the reviews, however this proved to be a good rental.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus is quick and efficient.
The age of the cars is a small issue, they are all still good cars but not as good as some of the other car companies.
We would rent from these guys again.

They charged me VAT after I returned the car even if it was already included in the contract. I tried to speak with the costumer assistance but they don't answer in any way.
At the end I payed as with a non-low-cost car-rental with a worse service.

I rented a car in Porto from Interrent. Nobody at the counter nor through email yhave ever informed me that in Portugal, contrary to what happens in almost every country, you can be charged autoroute tolls without being able to pay in the route itself. I had to leave early in the morning the day after I returned the car so there was no way to pay the toll at the post office for me, and there was no way to pay it online or from abroad. If I didn't find a friend of a friend who lived in Portugal and paid for me 20 euros of the toll, I would have had to pay the fine of 10 times that amount, so 210 euros, that means more of the total rental price of my car. Interrent didn't advice me of this, nor they provided me with any assistance once I have found out.
Fuel charge is more than the rental of the car so expect to play double. They charge you for the shuttle from airport to the car lot and the car they gave smelled of smoke. Would not recommend
We rented two times a car at interrent airport porto. It was very cheap and the personal was very friendly. They dont try to forcen you to pick an extra insurance. Really everything was going fast and uncomplicated. Thanks!!
I often rent cars in different countries and interrent was till yet my most professional experience. I can recommend it.
