Most beautiful place I've ever seen.
my wife and I enjoyed all of our time in Madeira and it was a great experience.

Small selection of shops and eateries in middle of hotel district. Wouldn't go out of my way to visit unless you need to shop on a Sunday when a lot of other places close. Probably handy for some but we preferred to go into Funchal centre itself where staff were more friendly and items could be found cheaper.

A great place to go for all types of shopping with a huge selection of resturants. Its usually fairly busy though (normally at around 7-9).

Nice shopping centre. Small but shops for everyone and a short walk to the top of the Lido. It has a C&A.

If you stay in Madeira, you should book an apartment in Forum area. The residential area around this magnificent commercial center is brand new and always sunny.
