Amazing place and the food and wine is amazing. Excellent staff and not over priced. Highly recommended...and deserts that will make you wish you could eat them all.

The staff really looks after you from when you enter until you leave. The appetisers (that you need to pay for) are delicious. Although there were no special dishes for the kids, they recommended us what they can eat. Leave 'space' for the wonderful desserts!

    Great food. Awesome service.

Typical Portuguese food prepared expertly. Many languages spoken by waitstaff. No "harassment" because we spoke English

Abusive treatment because of our speaking English. Went to this restaurant with my wife on the advice of Trip advisor reviewers. Our dining experience was constantly interrupted by a man who was on very friendly terms with the waiters. He would stop them as they tried to deliver meals. The man involved seems to be very friendly with the staff so may be an owner or is some way connected. This man later accosted my wife verbally by shouting "This is Portugal and in Portugal you speak Portuguese Not English." My wife retorted that that was rude and at this point he proceeded to mock her in Portuguese to the waiting staff. What amazed us is that the restaurant staff just simply allowed this to happen and did not come to our rescue. I would suggest you STAY AWAY from this restaurant if you are not a Portuguese speaker.

It's the second time we visit Antonio Padeiro and it never disappoints. It's an amazing portuguese food restaurant, with very good and friendly service. Price is also very good and below price range according to the standard of food we are talking about here. First time we shared the cod, this time we chose 2 different. But beware, portions are more than fair and if you get to eat all the appetizers they put on the table a meal to share is more than enough. You still need the space for the more than great desserts.
