Centro D’Artis Associação Cultural e Recreativa, é uma associação que se dedica a apoiar a população local em geral e em particular os jovens e crianças na promoção e divulgação das artes, da cultura e recreio em todas as suas vertentes; dinamização de centros artísticos culturais e recreativos; patrocínio e manuseamento de equipamentos artísticos, culturais e recreativos; desenvolvimento das capacidades de inovação artística, cultural e recreativa; desenvolvimento da sensibilidade e o pensamento crítico das populações e promover a sua qualificação e coesão social num desenvolvimento sustentado de diversas actividades culturais, artísticas e recreativas; promoção e dinamização de intercâmbios e cooperação com outras instituições ou organismos nacionais e estrangeiros que prossigam os mesmos objectivos.
São objectivos do Centro d’Artis:
- Realizar iniciativas culturais, recreativas e artísticas com vista à promoção, formação e difusão das Artes em geral e das Artes Plásticas em particular;
- Fomentar uma educação artística, cultural e recreativa junto das populações, privilegiando o contacto directo com as Artes, Cultura e Recreio e com os seus criadores;
- Apoiar, conceber, criar e desenvolver projectos e iniciativas artísticas, culturais, recreativas e formativas, destinadas às crianças e jovens, nomeadamente nas áreas de educação, formação e ocupação de tempos livres;
- Dinamizar a intervenção das Artes, Cultura e Recreio, tendo em conta a realidade social e cultural das populações;
- Produzir e desenvolver iniciativas, em conjunto ou não, com entidades públicas e privadas, subordinadas à temática das Artes, Cultura e Recreio;
- Promover o estudo e investigação em torno das Artes, Cultura e Recreio;
- Realizar, apoiar e desenvolver competências de inovação artística, cultural e recreativa, recorrendo às novas tecnologias, nomeadamente a arte digital;
Com vista à realização dos seus objectivos, o “Centro d’Artis Associação Cultural Artística e Recreativa” tem, entre outras, as seguintes atribuições:
- Proporcionar ao público em geral, e em particular às crianças e jovens, o acesso à documentação e bibliografia sobre as diferentes vertentes das Artes, Cultura e Recreio;
- Promover a formação cultural, recreativa e artística através de acções de formação, tendo em vista a integração sócio cultural da população;
- Editar revistas, jornais ou outros documentos de interesse relevante para as Artes, Cultura e Recreio;
- Constituir grupos de pesquisa que investigarão diversos temas relacionados com as Artes, Cultura e Recreio, sendo essa pesquisa posteriormente incluída numa base de dados a criar pelo “Centro d’Artis Associação Cultural Artística e Recreativa”;
- Fomentar novas formas de expressão artística cultural e recreativa e constituir actividades em ateliers próprios;
- Organizar encontros, festivais, exposições, feiras, colóquios e conferências subordinados à temática Artes, da Cultura e do Recreio.

Centre D'Artis Cultural and Recreational Association, is an association dedicated to support the local population in general and in particular young people and children in the promotion and dissemination of art, culture and recreation in all its aspects; encouragement of artistic centers cultural and recreational services, sponsorship and handling equipment artistic, cultural and recreational services, development of innovation capacity in artistic, cultural, recreational, development of sensitivity and critical thinking of the people and promote their skills and social cohesion in a sustainable development of cultural activities, artistic and recreational activities, promoting and facilitating exchanges and cooperation with other institutions or national and international organizations that pursue the same objectives.
The objectives of the Centre d'Artis:
- Conduct cultural, recreational and artistic activities for the promotion, training and dissemination of the arts in general and in particular of Fine Arts;
- Promote an arts education, cultural and recreational activities among the population, promoting direct contact with the Arts, Culture and Recreation and with their creators;
- To support, develop, create and develop projects and initiatives artistic, cultural, recreational and training, aimed at children and young people, particularly in the areas of education, training and leisure;
- To encourage the involvement of Arts, Culture and Recreation, taking into account the social and cultural reality of the population;
- Produce and develop initiatives, together or not, with public and private, based on the topic of Arts, Culture and Recreation;
- Promote study and research on the Arts, Culture and Recreation;
- Conduct, support and develop skills of artistic innovation, cultural and recreational activities, using new technologies, including digital art;
For the achievement of its objectives, the "Centre d'Artis Cultural Arts and Recreation Association" has, among others, the following tasks:
- Provide the general public, particularly children and young people, access to documentation and bibliography on the different strands of the Arts, Culture and Recreation;
- To promote cultural, recreational and artistic activities through training, aimed at integrating socio-cultural population;
- Edit magazines, newspapers or other documents of interest relevant to the Arts, Culture and Recreation;
- Establish research groups that investigate various topics relating to Arts, Culture and Recreation, and this search later included in a database created by the "Centre d'Artis Cultural Arts and Recreation Association;
- Encourage new forms of artistic expression and provide cultural and recreational activities in their own workshops;
- Organize meetings, festivals, exhibitions, seminars and conferences on the subject theme Arts, Culture and Recreation.
