  The Castelo is an interesting place and there are great views to the surrounding landscape. Abrantes itself is not worth an extra trip.

  Abrantes Castle is a strategic infrastructure over tagus river which was used as a chanel to carry material all the way up. The castle located in elavated position which allows you to see all over the region. This monument was restored recently and is home for a very interesting history museum. Home of history. Home of Abrantes! =)

  Excelent vantage point over the Tagus river, the city of Abrantes and surroundings.
  This place contains a very nice and cozy city museum, installed in a medieval reconverted church.
