Casa de Bormela is a manor house built in the XVII century by a Honorable Canon from Celorico de Basto. The house was abandoned more than 100 years until the actual owners bought it 20 years ago.
Is located in the old and friendly village of Bormela,in the region named "Terras de Basto",who is crossed by the Tâmega river. This region has a variety of natural places unique in Portugal,such as waterfalls, little rivers with a wide variety of fishes.
