The Azamor family estate is situated in Alentejo, Portugal (Vila Viçosa). The 350 meter above-sea-level, 62 acre vineyard is on unique schist soils, and one of the most densely planted vineyards in the region. The seven grapes: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira, Syrah, Merlot & Petit Verdot provide a unique blend of Portuguese and International varieties. Selected and harvested by hand Azamor is dedicated to perfecting each vintage, producing bold yet elegant wines that have a balance, concentration and depth of flavour that is rare in the region. The Wines - we have 4 red wines and 1 white wine: Azamor Red – A field blend that is good before, during and after the meal. 91/100 points WEAzamor White – A soft rounded wine from our region using mainly indigenous grapes. A wine to be drunk before, during and after the meal.Azamor Selected Vines – The best grapes from the vineyard are carefully selected this wine.
